No. You see once you have copr, the process becomes super-easy. After they become PR, nobody cares about nothing anymore. They can go live in a different address and so on, as long as they dont accept any form of government support, as you signed their sponsorship.

In regards to landing as a sponsored parent (in my case just Mom, never knew my Dad), nobody cares about the funds or nothing. They ask 2 things at landing:

1. Any other dependants not declared thus far.

2. Ever had anything criminal on their soul.

If and truthfully answered NO. Good to go.

Hello Everyone,

Looking for anyone whose on the same situation...

My Father is the principal and my Mom is the dependent. Unfortunately, Mom passed away and we would like to update them (immigration). We understand to fill out the IRCC webform to notify them about the changes.

MY QUESTION:
will there be any problem on the application of principal applicant? do we still have to advice that the application is continuous?
are we able to refund the fees for the dependent's application?

OMG i'm so frustrated right now with CPC Mississauga, freaking first they wanted to do reassessment for 2014,2015,2016. Now just got their email saying i'm not eligible to sponsor and should wait for the officers decision before i can appeal on this.. Calculated my family size of 3 for 2014,2015 & 2016 incorrectly and what they mentioned is 2014 - 3, 2015 - 3 & 2016 - 4. I mean seriously these guys are that stupid that they can't even calculated family size.. what the heck man... i have updated application at the end of this year when my son was born and our family size got changed to 4 in 2017. I don't know what to do now and how to tell them that they are soo freaking wrong and delaying and refusing this bcoz of there own mistakes. Wasting time, money and energy on this stupidity and end of result is not even acceptable.

I have emailed CPC Ottawa as in the letter it says if you have any new information fwd it to Ottawa and do not reply to Mississauga but i do not know will they even consider my writing and explanation about what they have calculated is wrong or will they go with the reassessment which is not even correct. I have sent them my son's birth certificate showing he was born in 2017 and family size got changed to 4 along with Mississauga letter and financial assessment document which they have sent.

Please advise if you guys know anything i should do in this situation.

Calm down please and go over the LICO tables for each year. Do make sure that amounts are equal or surpassed, cause if you are short even 1 cent, means no good. Also is it just you sponsoring or your spouse too? Did you receive Employment Insurance during any of these periods? I assume it is only one parent you are sponsoring? He/She has no accompanying dependants?

Ultimately you are responsible making sure you meet all the requirements and if you are right stop worrying, it will be fixed, you just loose about 2 months and some nerves.

My uncle has completed medical on May 25,2018. He had stayed 10 years illegally in the USA and we disclosed in the form before. We just got the request for FBI clearance (we already got it), Police Certificate , RPRF and bellow details. Can anyone help me with the format to provide the details? or Any other information related to below query:

Client Information: provide a detailed list of your activities in the United States, including
periods of illegal employment. Do not leave gaps in time. This must be received at this office by:2018/08/30

Is it OK if we provide all correct employment details ? Can that cause a trouble on the employer in USA?

What?! How could this happen! I think it is better to call them @mississauga office. You even can go there talking to them face by face. This is really a serious mistake and it hurts anyone' family

Yes this is quite frustrating and I hope you get a chance to talk to them and work it out. This might take some efforts from your end unfortunately to explain to them the situation. Hope it all gets sorted out.

Have you checked 2018 LICO? Is it possible that LICO is increased in 2018 comparing to 2016? I checked the CRA web and we are able to change the total income (NOA line 150) and request for new NOA with updated data. In case there is really a small shortage for LICO, you could think about to update your optian C first and then appeal for SA. This might be a way!

This day has finally happened! My parents got the invitation to submit passports for visas - the same day their repeat medicals were received.

They are in Canada now, and their US visas expired just days ago (ironically), so I wonder what the best way for them to land would be. Is crossing the bridge to US but not going into the US and coming back still an option? Some of my friends did that years ago, but I've read somewhere it may no longer work.
