Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

At PPR stage (still waiting), if one parent (applicant) happens to be in Canada, and the other parent (dependent) happens to be back in India, what are the options in terms of sending passports to CIC for stamping? Can one parent sent passport to Ottawa and the other parent to Delhi Embassy? Can they both land separately?

Hello

I have also applied under Parent Programme and my medicals passed.
After that I have taken a visitor visa and came to canada in June.
You can take a visitor visa for your parents as I don't think you need a super visa for them now

NDVO... Medicals requested in July 2016 and completed in August 2016. We never received PCC request and online shows medicals passed.

same here ... background check in process since nov 25th, 2016
they requested my father military details form
I requested my GCMS notes and it seems they are working on it but all the details of the security are wiped off.
criminality is passed though

How did you apply for GCMS notes? Are your parents living in Canada at the time? I thought you had to be inside Canada to request GCMS notes.

From the sound of it, it seems your application is on the verge of getting PPR. My application has been sitting in Medical passed with background check not even started for 6 months. Very frustrating!

My parents got their passports back on Monday! They had received PPR on June 7th (LVO London) All the best to everyone
