Timeline for PNP from New Delhi.

i am not motivated enough to check my eCAS now, everyday i used to open eCAS with hope and end up with disappointment, now dont wanna disappoint anymore, so i have just given up to check eCAS!!

I tell that to my self everyday that I will not check my ecas .... coz i have " in process " staring at my face since the last 2 months now..... but that little flicker of hope and a may be keeps making me go back to it..... don't know whats taking them so long to issue the visa ?? :-[ !!

Just get busy into your routine life guys. U never know. m waiting from past 10 months. First i was use to be like you guys but then i gave up. I am not trying to be negative or discourage you but just trying to point out that if we keep looking at something the wait becomes difficult. So cheer up & don;t give this thing your whole attention.

What are you saying ?? 10 month ... whats taking them soo long ?? Im sure it must have been a hell of a wait .... my only problem is that my bro is getting married on the 6th of Oct in Canada... n since my pp is with ndvo I'm most likely to miss it coz now i cannot even apply for a tourist visa..... I'm stuck !!

First, I admire your outlook and patience. I hope you and we all will get it soon.
Did you contact Delhi visa office? I believe, they said it will take 6 to 8 months to process!! Otherwise, you are eligible to call or go in person.
have your requested a GCMS/some notes like everyone else?

Well my application is bit differ in a way as i have already lived in abroad( NZ for 2 yrs) & visited in 3 countries . So the people who have lived in any other country except their home 1 have to go thru a long wait. yeah i contacted them in june & they replied that they are going thru my verifications & security check's & it will take time. but now in August they sent my passport back as it was due to expire. So i have got it renewed & deposited in August. now i hope i will get it back soon before November as my medicals are gonna expire in november.

Worst thing is that they kept my passport for so long & now when it was time to stamp visas they sent it back for renewal. Nyways i m confident m gonna get it some day ( very soon). keep up the spirit guys, we all gonna get it. i have never seen any case rejection in past 1 year.

@ Chaddha i understand your pain, its difficult when ur passport is with them. wish u get it before marriage cheers

Today when i checked my eCAS i saw an update which is:

Your current Home Address
Manitoba, Canada

It gave me a feeling of happiness but the status is still "In Process". Has anyone else's Canadian address appeared before the decision is made on their application? Please share.

I wish all my fellow applicants hear soon from their respective VOs about the good news

Dear All

I got QSC in March 12 and applied for federal in april end.Got medical request and ppr in june and sent same in june end and recd. by vo on 2nd july.
Since then there is no update from ndvo.E-cas showing we recd your application on 30th April,that's all.

I wonder what is going on. Sent vo status update request,but no revert.
Can anybody suggest something pls.ppr was also encashed on 2nd july.

@ASJ congrats!!! I think I have seen a few cases like u in forums ... DM should come in your case soon ... did u have travel in your history .. I have a lot so I am expcting it will take time for my case ...anyway best of luck

Yes, I am seeing my Canada address since 2 weeks now. It shows my Canada address like this

Your current home address
Regina, SK
Your current mailing address
Regina, SK
But my status still shows In Process and NO medicals received.

My deadline to send passport/medical was Sep 1, 2012.

I am a regular reader on this forum though not a eminent writer
Asj, dont worry, as per my opinion you are through and the status will change to decision made in a day or two. You will definitely get some good news in this coming week.
Mrs Chadda, I think your case will be through in the last week of this month. Rest one thing is sure that we cant predict 100% what these VO people are going to do. We can just wait and pray.
