Rupal - When are you planning to fly? Are you planning to show all required funds (CAD 10000) on your landing? I have asked this question in forums about whether we need to show the all required funds on landing or not but never got the answer, so what you think?

Hi ASJ,

I am planning to move in October and We have to carry the funds of that amount which is showed in our file. If the amount is more than $10,000 than it is mandatory to disclose it to immigration officer at the time of landing.

Hey ASJ ..... no news at my end ...... I'm just praying that it gets done soon..... with less than a month left from my brothers wedding if i don't hear anything from the NDVO soon enough looks like I will not be able to make it ......
Just don't understand that if they take so long to issue the visa why do they ask for the passports. They should first complete all their formalities n only then send the PPR....... It gets so damn frustrating when you have no clue as to what is going on..... .......!!

N yes i think its better to carry the amount that u have mentioned in ur application as funds available coz u never know what they might ask for .... everyones landing experience is different .... u are never too sure what they might throw at you ... so it better to safe than sorry !!

Ielts 5.5 One thing i want to ask you if the MA degree in hindi or punjabi will be assigned 20 points or they do not take this as equal as a master degree of any other discipline .please share with me ifyou or any body other having the same qualification and got succeed.please please please must reply me.

my deadline for medical/rprf n passport was 24 august, i havent seen even medical received line on my ecas, probably its aug/sept, the busiest time for consulate when thousands of students apply for student visa. so i was expecting delay. anyways its already 9 sept, so visa period is over and now they can focus on our files.

Congrats...has your Indian address changed to canadian address? If yes then that means your application is approved and in few days you will receive the passport with magic sticker.

When was your status updated in eCAS, is it Friday?

Congratulations !

Please check your address in ECAS status. In positive decision made status both Indian and Canadian addresses are mentioned if you have provided your destination address in your file otherwise they mentioned only city, province and Canada.

Hi... Mine wz a PNP first and then application for PR.. The address isy home address only.. Earlier in last 2 months I received my PPR+MR+RPRF request... They encashed my RPRF on 24 Aug.. PP is with them for 2 months now.. So, as per u the address has not changed on ecas.. What does it mean? (
