Dear Vineet,

Secondly, What is the duration of session on 1st day and any Tea or lunch Break is given in between.
Please do let me know, if possible.
Regards
Dear brother - I would strongly suggest everyone to attend this session. Its very useful to any newcomer to Canada. It will give you a wealth of information which will help you make life smooth after landing. It includes sessions like brief History of Canada, info about each province - jobs, education, etc (to help you decide where to land).
Main stress throughout the session is Job hunting, which they will connect you with various organizations in Canada that help newcomers get job. Also, has sessions on housing, health care, schools, other career programs like mentoring, volunteering. They give info on upgrading your education, if required. Taking up survival jobs and many more. I know it will be very overwhelming to grasp everything in 2 days, but its required for newcomers.
The 2nd day is a 1-1 MAP session, in which they will give you a personalized plan and connect you with various organizations in Canada that will help you get job. They will make a MAP and give you based on your skills and experience in your field. All these services are free of cost.
1st day is from 9-5. No Lunch provided, but tea/coffee and biscuits are provided in morning and evening. Lunch on your own.
2nd day only tea/coffee was provided. 2nd day its only 30mins -1 hr session for each person.
So, net-net - pls do attend the session. But, be prepared to dedicate atleast 2-3 hrs of solid research work to be done on your MAP after they give you. There is too much information and you need to dedicate 3hrs per day time for that to research those links.
For me, it was kind of easy to understand the session, since most of the settlement activities I already underwent when I was in Toronto.
Hope it helps. All the best, brother.
