I have one question regarding demand draft...I am in Toronto, recently I received RPRF, MR & PPR.
I have made a demand draft in cad from Toronto Dominion Bank in fever of "Canadian High Commission"
Do I have to make it in fever of "Receiver General For Canada" or "Canadian Hight Commission would be fine"

I think DD in CAD must be in favour of "Receiver General For Canada"

I made dd in cad in favour of Receiver General for canada"

So there will not be a problem if i am sending draft from TD banks draft from Toronto?
I will be sending my passport with one of my freind.

I am still in big confusion my lawyer told me to make it in favor of "Canadian Hight commission" but read in some where that it should be "receiver general for canada."
I am worried as I am sending it from Canadian bank.

As per my knowledge if we make dd in INR then it should in favour of canadian high commission
If we make dd in CAD then in favour of "Receiver general for canada.
This is my personal view,

Payment of Fees

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Can be done in anything.

Hi everyone,

Everybody is getting mr,rprf in a week after in proces but mine status is in process from last 13 days and no update for mr and ppr

Someone let me know what's wrong with my file and why they are taking too much time to send me another update

I am so worried guys

My file status got updated to 'Medical Received' on Dec-09.
I was thinking that the main status itself will change, but the main status is still 'In-process' and in the details they have added one more line saying that the Medicals have been received.
