Fee Schedule
Skilled Worker, Provincial Nominee, Family Class CAD INR

Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) 490 28,900

Hello Group

Just noticed 1 thing, earlier RPRF was Rs. 31,400 few days back

Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) 490 31,400

The Link seems to be updated now:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng

Now it is showing as Rs 28,900:
Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) 490 28,900

Also the modification date of the page is:
Date Modified:2013-11-29

So, I think, for all who got the MR, RPRF request last week should make the DD for Rs 28900.
What you guys suggest?

Send it thrg Speed Post

Dear all - I just made the DD for 31400/- for myself and spouse, but now i am seeing its reduced. WHat do i do?? Should i cancel this and make a new DD? If I send like this, will they refund excess amount?

Also, same issue I had with courier. Shall i send via speed post or Fedex? Speed post - they said takes 3 days to reach Delhi.

Pls advise.

THanks,
Vineet

Hi Vineet,

Pls get the DD changed, the difference is INR 2500 per applicant. Its a significant amount. They should refund the excess amount but the only question is WHEN!!! So don't get into depositing excess amount and then tracking refunds when you have option of amending the DD now.

Speed Post is a tried and tested way of delivering the package....and you can track you package as well.

Cheers,
S

Thanks Sid! Will they take 4 passports in one single Speed Post package?

Vineet,

Regarding DD, Better you cancel it and get the new DD issued
And for courier, i talked to my courier agent through which i sent the application to CIC. He is from DTDC.

He said , u can declare 2 passport and the charges is Rs 100. and if you want to declare 4 pp in same courier/package then charges is 200. This is only the PP declaration charges. We have to put the pp in front of them. They will provide us the ack for that.
The regular courier charges also applicable and addition to this.

Yes, they should! In the request letter by CHC, they would have mentioned all passports (Old & New) for all applicants. In my case, i had sent 4 passports as i had old passports as well for me and my wife.

Cheers,
