I suggest u have to submit passport at VFS office only. Moreover, its a faster and reliable option too....
Go ahead and u will receive ur passports back in 2 weeks time.....

But I don't understand why stamping takes so long, I assume one gets the PPR after all sort of verifications must have been done.
It should be just a matter of stamping or still some other checks and balances are done after submittig passports?

So Ecas update has nothing to do with ppr. Probably they update slowly.
