But I don't understand why stamping takes so long, I assume one gets the PPR after all sort of verifications must have been done.
It should be just a matter of stamping or still some other checks and balances are done after submittig passports?

What i understand with NDVO process is PPR is requested before background and security checks... even before your document checks... which is different as well as fast in other VO offices...

hope they are done with all process but waiting for strike results to release.... hope hope...

Folks, today finally I received my passports back from NDVO, and yes they are stamped with the VISA!! I finally got the Maple Leaf shining VISA today. I would like to thank all of you for your support and guidance. These last two months were especially painful while we were waiting for the passports to come back.

I believe in-spite of the strike some people at the office are still working. I have been following various threads and I think at this time they are giving priority to Students whose session start in September. Once this rush is over they will pick up all our files. So guys just hang in there. "Ab Dilli Door Nahin...."
