Hello Gurdev,

This is really fast and very good news. Congratulations. I think it only took 12 days for your results to be received. Now the last step is left, PPR.

Congrats once again.

Wish u happy 'n' faster processing ...

Hi Deepak,

I have been observing Passport Request and Return dates very carefully. It is taking 60 days in most cases for passports to come back with the magic stickers. I think you will get your passports next week.

The reason why it takes times at this stage is that they are doing background and security checks and that often takes a long time. Especially if you have been out of your native country for more than 6 months at a stretch.

Pack your bags :) as your 60 days are almost complete. :)

Hi Gurdev,

I paid in INR, the amount was 25970 x 2 = 51940 (for me and my wife). The fee is listed on the following link http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx . I sent the courier on 5th to Delhi High Commission by courier and it was delivered on 6th morning. I have not confirmed from my bank if it has been encashed yet or not.

hi applyvisa

i have also sent draft 51940 and my draft delivered at new dehli on 9th may, but i have little bit worried that cad is increased to 54.25 , they may send back our draft as incorrect payment because 54.25 x 980 = 53165.what you think if i am wrong pls clarify.

Don't worry Gurdev, the Canadian High Commission updates their fee page whenever there is a substantial change in foreign exchange rates. They do not change it everyday as per the market price. I checked just now and even today the fee page states that the fee is 25970/- only. So the fee that we have deposited is fine.

Hi All,

I am new to this thread. I was daily verifying this thread for updates and today decided to register :). I feel i am also on the same boat with who is waiting for MR from Colombo.

MY timelines are below.

Application filed: September 18th 2012
Nominated - October 18th 2012
First AOR from CIC - Jan 18th 2013
Second AOR from Colombo - Apr 11th 2013

And today i received an email from Colombo office to submit few documents like IELTs, Employment proofs, RPRF.
Can any one let me know how to pay RPRF from CANADA as curently i am in canada. And also is IELTS is require to submit, as in check list its clearly mentioned like for Skill level C and D only have to submit IELTS.

and i didnt receive request for Medicals and they are asking to pay RPRF, so much confusion.

Your response is more thankful. Thanks

Awake colombo VO , feb applicants are awaiting their AORs .

Regards

hello gks_2012

how you sent reciept to colombo email or snail mail,
what is the procedure of refund,

i had also paid online and now i have sent dd to ndvo.

Hi gurdev1

Mail to HPM.PROD@cic.gc.ca attaching the pdf copy of your online payment receipt asking them to refund the amount. You can get more details on Online Payment FAQ on CIC website. You need to also send details like your full name, passport number, UCI etc.

My friend reached new delhi but its of less help. They asked him to send the dd by courier or reg post. He took a local DTDC guy and posted the dd there and got a DTDC acknowledgement. I have sent the same to colombo office (scanned copy). Right now done with medicals and sent RPRF, counting back on colombo.

I believe you did the payment using a canadian credit card, so in that case i assume the amount will be refunded on the card itself.

Hope this helps you. All the best.

Shona,

As per the checklist (number 12) in IMM 5690E for provincial nominees.

Proof of Language Proficiency
Starting July 1, 2012, most applicants to Provincial/Territorial Nominee programs in semi or low-skilled professions
that fall under National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill level C and D are required to complete a language
proficiency test from one of the following designated agencies:
• IELTS (General Training test only),
• CELPIP (General test only), and/or
• TEF.
You must include a copy of your language test results with your application to CIC.
Note:
For more information and to verify whether you need to undergo language testing, refer to the CIC website.

So, if you do not fall under NOC C or D or any other low skilled trades you should be fine. In my case when they asked me the IELTS, i simply returned back to them with this information along with a copy of my recent LMO copy where it is clearly mentioned my NOC level.
That should be ok i believe.

Hope this helps you. All the best.
