I am not sure how much time they need to print and put a sticker on passport .. Its been 2 months now since I sent my passports .. This delay will cost me further delay of 4-5 Months as my wife is expecting a baby this month ..
So dear friend I had lost all my hopes for early landing in canada .. But I will follow u guys ..
So wish u all a faster processing and early landing in Canada

write a cse and mention this point to NDVO. request them to issue you visa as early as possible. you will get positive response.

Congrats to both of you thats good news. NDVO has its own timezone in which it works inlike other VOs which are very active.

Finally got the AoR from Colombo dated 27th April by snail mail. Gurminder kindly update please.

Does that mean that fee need to sent to Canada High Commission in Delhi , in the form of Demand Draft and payable to Receiver General for Canada.....can some one verify this understanding?

Not sure ...... but I assume so.

The draft goes to Delhi and once encashed Delhi sends you a receipt which then needs to go to Colombo.

Did yourself get a receipt form Delhi regarding the payment?

Here is what the colombo office replied on my online receipt of rprf fees paid in canada. Also can anyone reply back if had paid rprf fees in new delhi in person or has any friends there who did so. Please reply in such case.

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

As informed to you earlier, you need to make this payment at our office in New Delhi.
You cannot pay the Landing fee in Canada as your application is being processed overseas.
Please have the fee paid at New Delhi office and send us a copy of the receipt.

Hi folks,

Sorry for the delay but got bugged up with work at office. Couldn't spend time posting my updates.

I attended my medicals yesterday and having the same confusion as @ applyvisa had. How to send the rprf fees. I initially paid
the money in CAD online and sent the pdf receipt to colombo office. They replied back saying that as the application is sent overseas
i need to pay the fees at new delhi office (what a crap) and send receipt back to them. I had put a mail to refund my amount and i am now sending my friend to new delhi to pay the fees and send me a receipt. I don't know when this insanity of hoping for PR ends.

Guys, hopefully this helps some one following this blog coz every thing here is painful and needs hell lot of patience...
