Hi Deepak/Karambir,

Good to know that you are from tricity...I am also from tricity--Mohali..
I am in BC PNP forum....

And Yes it was really frustrating experience with MAX Mohali....There were more than 50 people in queue that day and my number was 11 and it took full day ( 8:30Am -- 6:30Pm) for X-ray, Eye check, Blood and Urine samples only....

GOT OWP stamped on 14th March 2013...
Received 1st AOR from Sydney on 19th March 2013 and now waiting for 2nd AOR....

Can someone who is maintaing the execl for NDVO timelinees add me in the list..

Cheers,
Roxxane

Friends,

I have sent 7 PCC's(India/Abroad) for Self and my Spouse...
In 2 PCC's it was mentioned that they are valid for Six months i.e till Mid June 2013...

It is very tedious job to get PCC again and again from districts/provinces in Punjab/Haryana however easy from UK(but there fee in Sterling is on higher side)

I am afraid that incase i plan to go to Canada by now on OWP and what if NDVO ask to submit fresh PCC then i need to come back and apply again???

It is really frustrating.... Fingers crossed and badly waiting for 2 AOR asap...

Gurminder:: Request you to add my timelinees in the excel..

Thanks

Cheers,
Roxxane

Guys , Any news for 2nd AOR .....

this forum has been silent from past few days.
NDVO is sleeping ( Ghore Vech K)

I guess you don't need to get PCC for each states, PCC is issued by passport office.

Yes, you are right Atin, we don't need PCCs from each state...just Indian PCC is enough.

Hi roxxane, is there any specific reason why you got PCCs from both states?

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu
The email for PCC which I just recieved 2 days back states that they need PCC from each country/state where the residence period has been six months or more .
My wife is from jalandhar so I am applying her PCC from there also . I got PCC's from J&K
Our passports are with NDVO at this time so I have to apply to Senior superident of police of respective states .

M little worried now as it will take abt a month time to get PCC from Jalandhar :(

hello deepak,
one months is very long time for pcc, as i am live in amritsar i got my pcc in 5 days,
from jalandhar i think it will take same time as in amritsar.
if you have some approch in police department then you will get pcc same day.
otherwise money do everything in india.

How is that possible to get pcc from all states as i stayed in 3 diff states in my life so i need pcc from all thos states? Plz clarify the quiry.......

hi chirag
U have to provide the pcc for the states where you have stayed after the age of 18 ...
There is a column in application form where v have to provide the details of stay after the age of 18 and if u have provided details of 3 different states after the age of 18 then my brother v have to provide 3 different pcc's .
Usually NDVO never ask for states but in me email they specially mentioned country / state ..
My bad luck :(

Hi Sarayu/Deepak,Attin:
Please see below::

How and where do I obtain PCC?
Local Requests
For districts other than the Punjab:
Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.

For residents of the Punjab:
Only the Senior Superintendent of Police or the Regional Passport Office may sign a Police Clearance Certificate.

Non-Resident Requests
Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate.

##In general, you and everyone in your family who is 18 years of age or over need to obtain a police certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

In my case:
I applied all the PCC from SSP& DCP office and not from passport office expect from UK where I followed up with ACRO Police and send some documents as per their application form and fee involved.

1) PCC from Mohali(District)--SSP office --- SLA is 7-10 working days max after filling application..-- Got 2 PCC.One for Self and other for my Spouse
2) PCC from Haryana(GGN) where i worked for 2 years and stayed with my Spouse in 2009-2011--- Got 2 PCC. One for self and other for my Spouse
3) PCC from UK where is stayed in 2008 for more than 6 months -- Got PCC..One for self and ther for my Spouse...
4) PCC from Panchkula district (Haryana) -- Got PCC for my Spouse as she belong to this place and stayed with her parents after the age of 18--till got tied with me and shifted to Mohali....

In all the certificates it is categorically mentioned that we found no records in this district(Mohali/Panchkula/GGN) for the applied candidate.....and Certificate is valid for 6 months from Date of issue...

Read again:: You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

To be on Safer side:: I also attached one cover letter addression CIO Nova scotia officer that "We were never involved and there is no case pending in any court INDIA/Abroad for myself and Spouse and signed that copy" and also mentioned all the adresses where in we stayed and got the PCC explaining the reason of stay..... :D

Let's see.....Fingers crossed..Waiting for 2nd AOR and inputs from NDVO..

Cheers,

Roxxane..

Thanx Roxxane for explaining in such a good manner ...
