hello guys,


update from my side,
i have reieved 2nd AOR today 10th april from colombo visa office instead of ndvo.
i filled new dehli as visa office in my application but aor from colombo visa office ??

Congrats first of all,,,but it really seems very strange.....
What was mentioned in ur AOR from CIO? Whether it was mentioned that ur application will be tranfered to the visa office filled in the application?

yes dear , i think because of excesive workload on ndvo they sent my file to colombo visa office.
lets see what happen, processing time of colombo visa office is 19 months.

Hi Gurdev,

Congratulations first of all on receipt of your second AOR!!! Seems like some more progress happening ....hopefully Jan Applicants would receive the 2nd AOR soon.... Strange to hear on email from Colombo when NDVO was filled in the main application.....

I hope you would have more clarity once you receive your MR+ PPR email which is expected in next couple of weeks...

Did they mention anything specific in the email as to why the file is transferred to Colombo instead of NDVO?

Atlast a drop of water from ndvo on our barren waiting land .
Hopefully it shall be raining AORs from NDVO for all the applicants waiting for theirs .

This is to inform you that your application for permanent residence in Canada as a Provincial Nominee has been transferred for processing at the High Commission of Canada in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This has been done to provide you the shortest possible processing time.
Your application number and unique client identifier (UCI) remain the same as shown in this letter. You must quote these numbers in any future correspondence. It is very important that all correspondence regarding your application be addressed to the High Commission of Canada in Colombo, Sri Lanka at the address below, and NOT the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.
There is no need to communicate with this office at this time. If we require any further documentation or information, we will request it from you (or your representative, if applicable). It is very important that you (or your representative) check your e-mail regularly because we will use e-mail exclusively to communicate with you if an e-mail address was provided.
You, as the applicant, remain responsible for informing us immediately if your family composition, civil or immigration status changes, or there are changes in your contact details. In these situations you are required to notify this office immediately. The transfer of yourapplication to Colombo is to process your application as quickly as possible. In order to devote resources to faster processing, we will not be responding to requests for case status.
Next Steps
When our office is ready to assess your file, we may or may not ask for additional documents or information. Instructions to undergo a medical examination will be issued to you shortly. You (and your family members if applicable) are required to complete these examinations within 30 days of the date of the instructions. Failure to comply may result in refusal of your application. Currently in Canada and requested NDVO.

My GCMS notes confirms that my file is going to NDVO. Personally, I dont care even if my file goes to hell as long as I get PR within 6 months.

Its very great to hear that u got AOR. One of my friend who is not in the forum also got AOR today from colmbo. But the thing which i cant understand is y they shift u r file from NDVO to Colmbo.????

Mine reached there on 7th.March 2013.CIO NOVA SCOTIA

I am waiting for AOR from there.
