Hello All,

Need your help, I am july gs applicant I got loa from pnp on may 28.

I am filling Cic application and I came to know that with new check list, we don't have to send education document and any employment document with application. Is that true??... :o

Please help me guys......

Advise to send notarised copies of all the educational and employment letters along with application to cio to avoid delays at ndvo vo as they shall request them at the time of processing at their levels.

Hi
LETS HOPE THINGS TURN OUT FOR THE BETTER AND THEY COME BACK TO WORK SOON. ALSO HOPE THEY WORK EXTRA TIME TO CLEAR THE BACKLOG.

REGARDS
R :)

dont plan any thing or lock ur mind based on canada PR
apply for visas which shud be the best option
still the strike can end in 2 weeks and this may cause jus 2 weeks delay-never know

guys
imagine
i expect the strike to be maximum 1 month

The country wud lose its name

all embassy staff being on strike wud lead to complete stall of foriegn travellers(no PRs,no visas)

So this strike wud affect ur PR only by a months delay nothing more

I am planning to move to Australia if nothing happens in a month

aus immi is the best of all
its fast and they are responsible
i applied for aus in dec 2012 and shud get it in 3 more months -i thank my mom for that for her advice!

i applied for both Canada and Aus PR

since

1) job search seems tougher in canada compared to Aus and initial settling seems tougher in canada
2) Aus economy is booming compared to canada
3)if i get both PRs i wud have a choice
4) it mitigates risk factor and i wud atleast get 1 PR by end of 2013

Dear folks
Beware and know what to expect
their track record is scary

1) they sent a notice in nov 2009 all applicants who applied before feb 2008 wud be discarded(all PR aspirants were left in limbo! they wasted nearly 18 months hoping and hoping)
2) i know a guy who came to ndvo from US for ppr and got back passports after 8 months( 8 months unemployed and waiting!)
and several others it took 6 months-(u have ur passports locked with them!)
3) i know a guy who been asked to do medicals again and again and the process took 1 year for clearing medicals
4)u can only trust this when u have PR on hand-this seems like a cricket match -match isnt won until its won-hopes count for nothing
