You are right, but you should have sent your passport with your friend or someone else, I did the same , I have got my passport submitted through a friend.

Well we have no choice other than wait, for me its second week .

Yes Bro. Guess I should have done that. But the thing is that sending passports like this is illegal. I checked it from an Indian Embassy in US and also from Canada embassy. Also, as per my understanding NDVO does not care as long as the passports are couriered from within India. But I did not want to do anything illegal. So, I came back. I was hoping it will be maximum 2 months but now it is already more than 2.5 months and no update. After reading gurhehar's message , I'm sick with worry. I don't know what has gone wrong.

I hope PNP people should work in canada while PR under process? That is the rule in Alberta.

yes u can get work permit once u approved and in mean time PR process may go on.

Hi friends, i want to share my exp of cvo with u all. Many of u might know i was asked to submit my spouse`s swedish pcc. I wrote back to cvo that her stay there was for only 2 months, and at the same time i informed them that i have applied for the same. After some days i got another mail from cvo that there was some discrepency in the travel dates that i had filled so now i need to send my spouse`s uk pcc also., along with updated travel history form:'( :'(
The case officer gave me strict instructions that all these should reach him within the time given by him in his earlier mail.Now i`m going crazy how to arrange uk pcc in a period of 15 days, whem they r having so many holidays in coming few days??I have again applied at the earliest I could but believe me, i`m in a total mess now..and that too after medicals and landing fees.

Moral of the story : If cvo is taking time, then there definately has to be some reason, some information not filled properly, some silly mistakes , etc...These things happen with people having long travel histories.. otherwise cvo is very fast at working.

I hope you can share your ideas, am so worried with our application, we're done with our medical last Sept 2013, but after that we don't have any notification from the embassy for the next step. how many months will be the waiting period after submitting the complete docs to the embassy?

My file was transferred to NDVO from CIC NS on 3/3/2014
