If DD is in INR then, its easy to know Encashed date, but if it is in CAD then it slightly difficult.

i got my second AOR from colombo on april 10
this is 6th week without any MR or PPR
cant plan anything based on this process

ur visa office is Delhi then how you are getting the AOR from Colombo ?

I saw many people are getting their 2nd AOR from Colombo... not sure, might be I m not updated with the latest rule.

i hav paid rprf from india,

you should make bank draft payable at new dehli and send via courier at new dehli visa office address along with request letter of rprf.

is that psyable at new delhi is mandatory to be on the Demand Draft. Because i have taken few DDs here in local banks canada, i never see payable at, they just adds only InFavour of.
Please suggest me.

No gurminder I have never recieved any receipt from NDVO for rprf .. I think they are in hibernation mode these dayz ..

in india when we make a draft from bank we mention on the form where draft will be encashed, if in canada there no need to mention location where it will be encashed then no need to worry it will be ok. you can check from bank it is encashed or not after 10 days from dd reached at dehli.

Advise to email CIO sydney and NDVO about the updates of your file.

This is ridiculous ... How long can someone wait without any correspondence from VO ...?

I believe all feb guys should send email to sydney and NDVO in order to get updates .

Just email them about the status of your processing of file mentioning the following details :-

1. Passport no
2. Full name and DOB
3. Category
4. File no or UCI no
