vgul has pretty much answered accurately. If a person stayed more than 6 months in a country, then a PCC from that country is required. You can visit the High Commission of that country to get more details.

I was really worried for your job in Toronto. Now hope if you fly soon then you can stay on your existing job and get away from finding new job.

If the docs are for two different applicants, they consider them as two different passports and charge accordingly. In-case, if they(CVO) ask for additional docs that can be send using the same receipt. They will not charge any additional amount.

Even at the time of passport submission, you can use the same receipt. Ultimately, it is an one time payment.

Please keep 3-6 passport size photos of you and the other applicants when u go to VFS.

Once you have completed your online payment, please retain a copy of the receipt and forward the confirmation of payment to the following e-mail address: Colombo-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca. The e-mail to our office must include the following information:
Subject line: Payment for [insert your immigration file number]
Body: Given/family names and date of birth of the principal applicant."

The information /documents we have requested should be provided to us within given time period. No further requests will be made. If we do not receive the information within the time indicated, we will proceed to assess the application based on the information on file which may result in refusal.
