Folks - I want one opinion from all of you. As you may be knowing, I need to join a company in Canada and they may wait max till 1st week of Jan. Now, I doubt i will get back my PP by that time with stamping (the speed at which they are processing, doesnt look). So, what do you suggest, if I ask my passport back mentioning the reason that I need to travel to Canada and then re-submit the passport back again from Canada via some means...?? i know I am back at square one, but I cant afford losing this job that i got with much effort. I cannot do the job searching all over again...

pls advise, if I go ahead and ask only my passport and make the travel and then re-submit it back to CHC. Will it impact my application? Will they misunderstand that I am withdrawing, etc??

Hey I suggest you that you should write an email, explaining your issue and ask of PP Return if PR visa takes time. I believe they can expedite PP stamping

as per my opinion...... just mail them for faster processing and also attach ur job offer too ...... but at the same time do not request them to return ur passport without visa or u may resend ur passport later on........

Mine is almost 10 working days and no Medical received updates so far... the more I am eager to get the updates, the more it will be delayed. Its always like that... they are not understanding that person has to join job in Canada. No consideration at all...

I suggest you to go to your hospital and query them abt ur medical. I my case same thing happened i went to hospital and they communicate me that ther is query abt my child medical then i came to know y my medical status is not updated.

Friends....

Done with the medicals today. I have come to know from the hospital that the CIC web site is down from the past 10 days. They are unable to update the medical results. Also, they too have a backlog to clear.

So whoever has done the medical test in the last 10 days should wait for some more time to get there status updated.

What is it yar? I did medical on 13th Dec...It was working fine. They have submitted my son's medical report over the web and confirm with me on the same day.
Hope this sort out soon.

Yes. I too did from Fortis, Bannerghatta Road on 5th and I was also told that everything is normal and results are uploaded, but looks like it wasnt. Thats the reason, mine Medical is still not update. All these days, I was breaking my head and losing sleep as to why it was not updated in ecase. I came to know this yesterday from Fortis hospital.

But, I am still not getting that. How its possible that upload is successful (according to receptionist), but CHC not able to view? I have been working in IT for 10+ yrs and I know how client/server architecture works...!! The hospital ppl arent technical enough.. I asked technical questions, for which they didnt know the answer and told me "talk to CHC only, we dont know"..... (I dont blame them... )
