Dear Longwait,

VFS only accepts the passports if it is specifically mentioned in the mail sent to you by Embassy. Alternatively you can send the packet on the normal postal Address of Indian Embassy, Which is as below:

CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION,

7/8, SHANTIPATH,

CHANAKYAPURI,

NEW DELHI

You can check the online status on "Speed Post Tracking" with the help of docket number provided on the slip given by postal authorities. The Speed Post generally reaches the destination, next Day.

In vfs you have a choice to select....but if you send directly to ndvo address then...

Dear Longwait,

You can do so, But use the services of some renowned courier company, since passport is a very important document. I advise you to once again check at the local city VFS office, Try to meet someone senior there, otherwise send to Embassy directly.
