On a seperate note, I am little unhappy with CHC, ND. They have asked for 31400/- as PR fee, but seeing the present $$ rate, $490 * 60 (CAD) = 29400/-. Why are they asking us to pay 31400/- ?? Ideally, they should reduce the fee since CAD is also almost 60/- now. We are paying almost 2K extra per person.

Anyway, the joy of getting PR will overtake all this, but just my thought. They should look into this.

I agree with you and understand your apprehensions bro...

However, what i understand is that there would be a periodic update of FX rates which CHC does ....may be quarterly/ half yearly (not too sure on the timelines)...i saw the updated FX rate on their website on 1st Sep....

If you notice there are many forum members who paid RPRF @ Rs53 per 1CAD till last month when the market exchange rate was Rs 63 per 1 CAD.

Nevertheless, we will be benefited by the lower FX rate would help us once we land there...

Any document which is a photocopy of the original one need to be notarised . We cannot send any photocopy without notary attestation .
Moreover why to take risk and delay our own files processing .
Today may be it will take 1 extra day but it will save lot of time in future ..
