Dear Ballutaran - As i understand, you got IMM1017 form for Medical and they (CHC) also asked you to pay the PR Fee + also Asked for the passport?? So, there are 3 items for you - MR, RPRF and PPR. Correct?

So, do we need to pay the RPRF in CAD (how much $$)?? ..... and should we send the passports + fee via VFS??

Pls let me know what they told you.

yes boss i got MR, RPRF and PPR....
and boss i am in india ...so no need to pay in CAD.....they had given the link http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx
and see the fees in indian rupees....i.e. 31,400 (mine) and 31,400 (my wife).....so the total is 62,800/-
No need to see the dollar rate...

Dear Ballutaran,

Yes you are right. The link specifies the INR amount which has to be paid by way of Demand draft or pay order Payable at New Delhi. Please refer the link mentioned in your mail to get the payee details.

Have you got any additional doc request also. What are these doc's, can you specify?

On a seperate note, I am little unhappy with CHC, ND. They have asked for 31400/- as PR fee, but seeing the present $$ rate, $490 * 60 (CAD) = 29400/-. Why are they asking us to pay 31400/- ?? Ideally, they should reduce the fee since CAD is also almost 60/- now. We are paying almost 2K extra per person.

Anyway, the joy of getting PR will overtake all this, but just my thought. They should look into this.
