hello,
i just wanna ask, gaano ba katagal maghintay ng mail para sa RPRF or landing fee. tapos na ako sa medical, pero di ko nabayaran ang RPRF ko upon submitting my application. sabe ng iba ma delay daw ung processing, mga gaano katagal naman ang delay. thanks mga kabayan
No exact duration unfortunately - common ngayon is the instructions sa payment ng RPRF is included along with other instructions like PCC, personal history or MR. Around a few years (5+) and norm was payment of RPRF ang last step, but bihira na ngayon. Me added delay, kasi magpapadala pa ng instructions for payment, then babalik ka for payment, before uusad na naman ang processing mo - nangyayari kasi, kung walang updates sa file mo, babalikan lang yan on the next Forward To date or BFD bago silipin kung ano pa ang kulang o kailangan. Kung ganito, maaring hinihintay ang medical assessment mo to be updated into your file, saka makikita ang kakulangan ng RPRF, then ipadadala na ang instructions for payment. Me added time sa back-and-forth transmittal ng instructions. Kaya recommended na lately to include payment ng RPRF with the application para mawala na ang added time sa step na ito.

Pwede mo ba ilagay timeline mo? Mas madaling mag-estimate kung me pagbabasehan ang timeline mo.

CEM or CPP-O ang VO mo?

Well then wala pang processing times for this CPC, so far me katagalan din ang applications processed sa office na ito. If it was CEM, medyo predictable, but for CPP-O (Ottawa) and CPC-Sydney, observed na mas matagal kesa sa CEM for PNP PR applications.

This is a valid suggestion - wala naman pagbabawal na magpadala ng documents na makakatulong sa application mo. It does not mean na pinangungunahan mo, in fact - tinutulungan mo ang processing sa pagbibigay pansin sa file mo sa pamamagitan ng timely updates.

Lalo na payment of RPRF, which is not an extra document, and part ng processing. Pwede mo bayaran ang RPRF and send the receipt as an update sa application mo.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=052&t=3
Hindi bawal mag bigay ng update sa application mo, either in the form of documents, or new information. Better me paraan na nagagawa ang applicant rather than just waiting for the VO for updates - kailangan habaan mo talaga ang pasensya mo sa bagal ng usad ng regular applications.

The risks here is - kapag refused ang application mo, refund ka ng RPRF and you have to apply for the refund.

As to paano magbayad - I wrote a lengthy post about that a few months ago:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/timeline-for-filipinos-submitted-pnppr-applctions-at-cio-t93206.0.html;msg3042707#msg3042707

Medyo mahabang basahan lang. ;D

Hi sir ragluf,

Can you stay in Vancouver for say for 3D2N just to visit an aunt first before heading to MB kc
they requested you to visit them first since that it's been ages that you haven't seen each other
and you may not have the time to do that when you get busy in MB. and this is also to provide
rest for your 3yo son who had been travelling for almost 16 hrs (including that of the province to manila flight)

Will it not affect your PR status given that it is your first landing?

Thanks

Thank you hellokitty for the reply. Even sa IOM they require MMR Vaccine for adult? Thanks again..

May nabasa akong thread dati, na hinanapan daw sila ng Flu vaccine during MR then ung child is flu and chicken pox. kaya plan nalang namin ni hubby to have that flu shot for the 3 of us then additional vaccines for our 3-yo son.
