May nabasa akong thread dati, na hinanapan daw sila ng Flu vaccine during MR then ung child is flu and chicken pox. kaya plan nalang namin ni hubby to have that flu shot for the 3 of us then additional vaccines for our 3-yo son.
Thanks LemonLuv.

Did you do your Medical na? Wala bang instruction ung MR from CIC?
Kasi ako wala pa akong na receive na MR so I really have no clue.

Kung wala, need mong magpainject ulit to get one.

Thanks!

Unless identified during IME, then there should be no further action required from you. It all boils down to your own discretion for now, on getting the shot or not. For kids - a complete immunization record that shows measles vaccination should enable smooth enrollment and integration into schools.

Also depending on the nature of the travel to Canada (for example working in food preparation, health areas etc.) added checks are included in the IME.

Unfortunately the PH was identified as having a outbreak of measles so there was a notice in the government sites for travellers to the PH. http://travel.gc.ca/travelling/health-safety/travel-health-notices/measles

Expect there will be added scrutiny in the coming IMEs for current applicants due to this, but for those with issued visas, I have not seen any health advisory that specifies added checks upon arrival. Nevertheless, as soon as you have health insurance and have a GP/doctor, do ask about getting a booster shot if needed.

Here is the specifics on vaccinations for persons new to Canada (specifically measles)

Hi sir ragluf,

Anytime - up to your discretion. Dun sa earlier replies ko -
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/timeline-for-filipinos-submitted-pnppr-applctions-at-cio-t93206.0.html;msg3525862#msg3525862

Wala naman restrictions sa pagbabayad. If you look sa application guide: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#pay-fee
It says the RPRF fee will be asked at a later stage, however, it did not state you cannot pay it early or you are not allowed to pay it early.

So you have options:
1. Pay it at the time of application submission to CIO
2. Pay it voluntarily even without a request
3. Pay it when requested by the VO

Now 1 and 2 ang risk nga nyan is if refused ang application, then kailangan mag-apply ka na lang ng refund. #3 is the sigurista approach - kapag sinabihan lang. However, me advantages ang 1 & 2 kasi inaalis mo na ang step na ito sa processing time mo, so me ilang weeks din na nababawas; kung sa mga VO na matatagal ang processing, this sometimes may translate into months removed sa processing.

I opt for #2 and these are my reasons:
- pwede mo gamitin ito as a reason to update your application; if things are stuck at walang updates sa eCAS, time for you to trigger an update sa file mo by sending new info. Payment of RPRF is new info, and can be used to trigger a look into your file.
- timing ang kailangan, kung naipasa na ang application mo sa VO (after CIO), at assessments na ang ginagawa, plus natapos ka na sa medical, and magaan naman sa iyo na magpaluwal ng bayad and me madali kang paraan ng refund if ever - then pay it midstream to trigger action on the application

In other threads, 2 years ago, yung mga natransfer from Buffalo, NY VO was stuck ng napakatagal sa CPP-O, and some of them opted to pay RPRF voluntarily - and got updates to their application. So mas malaki ang upside to them.

all in all - para-paraan lang yan; you can opt to wait it out, or find ways to influence how your application is progressing. There are ways, sabi nga - pag gusto me paraan... so think outside the box, and be creative.

Health documentation
Children in Canada are vaccinated—also called immunized—beginning when they are newborns. Vaccinations help to prevent serious infections or diseases.

When you travel to Canada, bring official documents that state what vaccinations you and your family have already had. If you or your child has not been vaccinated, call your doctor or local public health clinic right away.

In Canada, immunization or vaccination records are required for children to enroll in school.

No necessarily. Some work with their family doctors and get a record of immunization based on their recollection; sometimes the family doctor provides booster shots if the time between shots has been long.

Find a family doctor you can work with and see their recommendations shots before travelling to Canada, and if booster shots are needed, have it documented.

As to paano magbayad - I wrote a lengthy post about that a few months ago:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/timeline-for-filipinos-submitted-pnppr-applctions-at-cio-t93206.0.html;msg3042707#msg3042707

Via email is the next set of instructions to you.
Madalas is that "2nd AoR" kasama na sa MR or other added requirements like PCCs, as part of a set of instructions. Sometimes hindi formal na sinasabi na this is an AoR from the VO, sometimes me nakasaad talaga this is an AoR (nakalagay sa subject line, me UCI at File number indicated). Kung me natanggap ka na set of instructions - check mo if part of that sinasabing "all correspondence should be sent to this office" - that would identify the sender of the instructions is your VO. Then check the address kung saan nanggaling ang instructions - dun mo malalaman saang office nagmula ang instructions.

Considering naghihintay ka pa kung saan ang VO mo, better wait for the VO to be confirmed first, then alam mo saan ipadadala ang resibo ng RPRF. Then after verification of payment, this is expected to be an entry in your file, as part of requirements completed.

Hi Einna,

Nope, we haven't done our Medical yet, still waiting for the AOR. OO, it's a MUST na you have to bring the vaccination record of the child. Good luck 2to all of us.

Also,
thanks to sir ragluf, I have not paid the RPRF yet. I'll do that (i guess) after the medical (with or without a request) and then gagawin kong pang update.
Thanks for the idea.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Provincial Nominee Class.

Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).

Your application has now been placed into processing

Please do not forward additional documents unless requested.

If additional documents are required, you will be provided an address to forward required documents. Please inform the Centralized Intake Office by e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca of any status changes in your application (birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.
It is important for you to learn about the steps you need to take to get your credentials and qualifications recognized in Canada. You can access information about this free in-person assistance at www.newcomersuccess.ca . Thank you for your interest in Canada.

My letter did not mention which visa office will handle my application or if I should go for medical. So what I did, after checking with some of our forum mates, I sent an email to London VO (this is the VO in my application), and Abu Dhabi VO (ADVO) and asked them if they received my application. I'm worried since in ECAS my application was received last April 2014, but until now there is no MR.

Today, the London VO responded that they did not have my PR application and based on my details, they said it was sent to ADVO. I just sent that email a few days ago, imagine they beat ADVO in responding to the inquiry! ;D

Now, I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope that ADVO will response soon with my MR ;D #Feelinghappyandpositive

Hopefully others will benefit from my experience. ;)
Hi Einna,

Thanks for sharing the info to us all here!

Hello to All:

I just want to share with all of you that I finally receive a response from my VO (now I can be sure of this ;D).
Concerning my very informative ( ::) sarcasm) AOR from CIO that forget to mention my VO, I sent an email to LVO and ADVO asking if my files are with them.

Here's the response from ADVO today:

This is to confirm that your PR application is being processed in Abu Dhabi Office.

Enquiry: I would like to know if my PR application was sent to your office and whether we should go for medical. Last May 2014, I received my acknowledgement letter from CIO informing that my application is in process. However, the letter did not indicate which visa office will handle our application or whether we should go for medical. In ECAS, it only shows that my application was received on April 4, 2014 and nothing else. I would appreciate if you can let me know if you have received my PR application and should we proceed on our medical. Thank you.
