Hi to all, ragluf, itguy, tabs, cebugirl,

Its been a long time since my last visit here in this forum.
I really like to allot some time to share my experiences here but im sooooo busy for the past 2months.

Anyway, heres my timeline.

April10 - landed in vancouver
April11- landed in winnipeg
April14- get sin, manitoba health card, got seminar sched with manitoba start
April15- get police clearance, open bank account
April16-25. - sending resume online, apply walk-in to companies, do some networking frpm neighbors, friends of my sponsor and on church
April 21- 1st take on knowledge test, license, failed:9 mistakes...ouccchhhh!
April 25- send our children to the nearby school.
April 25- got my initial interview with gen mgr
April27 - got my 2nd 3-hr grueling panel interview with the company owner, gen ngr, oprtns mgr and the engg mgr.
April29-may2- manitoba start
April30- retake on my knowledge test, this time 4 mistakes -passed
May5- my 1st working day as a mfg process engr
May5. - 1st shool day for my children
May16- got an apartment
At present, i am now working on the same company for more than a month now and im happy on the working conditions because i have my own office and nobody is bothering me except the gen mgr. downside is that it is too far from where i am living, around 50kms outside the city, my salary is not that high, im on a carpool.

Rest is history.

I am just saying for newcomers not to focus on survival jobs. There's are a lot of engg jobs out there for newcomers. Or probably, im just blessed becoz of those people who are praying for our safety. Or probably, attending CIIP gives us strength and courage to pursue the same line of work when we arrive here. Or cguro, swerte lang at timing din.

Anyway, message ko lng sa nagaantay ng visa. Always pray and everything will be alright.

Yes pare, if you are going to winnipeg, hindi k na maninibago. Khit saan ka pumunta puro pilipino. Then canadians, in my opinion link filipinos as hardworking individuals especially social health care. May malasakit mga filipino lalo na sa mga elders nila. Kya halos walang discrimination. At least thats my opinion right now. Hopes nothing change after a few years living here, hehehe

Wala pa namang hiningi sa amin. I'm not sure kung may hihingin pa sila kase Saturday lang ako nagcheck sa ecas eh. I hope wala na kase ung nbi clearance naman na binigay namin is jan 2014 issued.

may naka-experience na po ba dto na nagbayad ng RPRF na creditcard ang gamit tapos parang na-double debit ng CIC?

kmi po kc ganun nangyari..huhu..sbi nung customer service ng creditcard na kausap ko may isang transaction kmi,un nga ung sa RPRF tpos may pending pa daw na isa pang hindi na-aapprove ng CIC.. so pag na-approve daw ng CIC un magbabawas daw sa creditcard ko..mangyayari parang 2 beses kmi nagbayad ng RPRF.. :-\

ngyon hintayin ko kung magbabawas ulit ng isa kc nga pending pa daw..nacheck ko kc ung available limit ko sa creditcard mababa nlng..hindi ung ineexpect kong amount..huhu..

e isa lang nmn nareceive naming mail sa cic na we paid that amount..malalaman po ba nila un kung madodoble ung bayad ko?pero promise 1 time lng ako nag transact sa knila.. after nga nun nag email ako sa CEM tpos naka-attached ung resibo ko..ngyon 2 beses ako nagsend ng mail sa knila..pero same attachments pa rin namn..hindi nmn cguro un ang dahilan kung bakit nadouble credit ung RPRF sa card ko?

HHHEEEELLLPPPP!! ang laking amount kc nun eh wahahaha!!salamat po..

ATTN kay Sir Ragluf, ano po bang masasabi nyo?may ganyang pangyayari na po ba sa iba nating kaforum?huhu..
