Congrats simplyblessed!

My time to share the good news

Dahil sobrang inip na ako, nagsend ako follow-up email kahapon sa CEM. Syempre suggestion ni sir ragluf na simpleng paalala sa kanila.

So this morning, may PPR na.

Congrats tenshi! Sana sa amin na ang next. :D

paano po nalalaman if sa CEM na ang VO ko or CIO pa din naguguluhan na po ako

Congrats sa may mga updates. :D

Pero I feel really bad today kasi I just found out na nakalimutan ko ilagay email address ko said generic format, mapapatagal tuloy yung AOR ko, Pero nakita kong ASAP additional info Page siya. Weird. :( Ano kayang maganda action dito guys?

OT: still no work... :( tried applying sa bank but hindi ako nasali for info session.. kailangan ng kasi cash handling canadian experience bago maconsider for interview.. so for those who wish to work in a bank, working in fastfoods/retail stores for 3 months as cashiers, can help pursue your dream.. that is according to the job developer of manitoba start..

kaya hanap mode ulit ako.... will try to send more resumes na din online to get a job ASAP....

OT: Don't lose hope. Hindi lang ikaw ang dumaan dyan - imagine others before you. One of the realities in coming to Canada is that you will "reboot" your career and your life. It is a new way of thinking - much much different from where what we have become accustomed prior to moving. In some cases, you may find it is kind of "backward" in a sense these circumstances are common and our trained/instintive reaction/action is based on our past environment - mas mabilis tayo sinanay sa mas mabilis na pace ng decision making, action and even mostly pro-activeness. Sometimes, you will find people frowning on your proactiveness - to other people - pakikialam na yun sa di mo sakop :)

Learn to lower expectations ika nga. Internally we know what we are worth and what skills we have compared to what the others around you - in manner of problem-solving, in manner of efficiency, in manner of multi-tasking. Unfortunately, we are the ones coming into "their" domain, so we adapt....

Good luck in job hunting....all the best...

Yun o! Ayus....hehehe. So padala na ang PPs.....(malamang on the way na ano?) :):):) CONGRATULATIONS! Kaunti na lang...

Me diskarte ang follow-up, kailangan timing, and siyempre, tact. Do not ask directly where, what is the status of your application. Also, space "updates" over a reasonable time-frame; too many over a short period in between, magiging "makulit" ka na, and chances are, ipadadala sa iyo system generated response. Also, as much as possible, use the case-specific inquiry link as a last-resort; sending updates, use the email address/mailing address that is indicated in the correspondence sent to you.

Boss kurt, where is the application right now? Lagpas na ba 8-10 weeks? Kung CIO, at wala ka pang application number, we can do about in two ways:
1. wait for the AoR (as you said malamang nga matatagalan kung snail mail - hindi mo alam kung dahil walang email address sa form na iyon automatic default to mail sending sila). You may not know kung gagamitin nila ang details sa additional info page as your primary contact info.
- as soon as you get an AoR, update the details immediately

2. or fire off an update email + mail to CIO-NS (cover all possibilities)
- risk here is wala ka pang file number, so medyo mahirap i-track or i-refer ang update mo sa application mo. So by name and date na lang ang reference nito ang hopefully the people there can connect the dots.
- prepare a copy of your submitted page (generic form), and highlight the error. Now prepare a copy of this form, with the email address filled in, and then countersign/initial near the corrections on the page and date it.
- prepare a cover letter, and identify the reason for the update, and what you want to be done. Specify when the application was filed and sent, and identifying details (i.e. Name, MPNP application file number, etc.) of your application package so it can be easily identified amongst the files....
- send by email immediately (use the link below: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/sydney.asp) - CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca - include scanned copies of the change
- and then send the official change via courier/registered mail to the courier address in Sydney, NS.
- send another update via email when the courier/registered mail has been received, if no news afterwards....

Inquiry lang po, has anybody been asked to have a sputum exam done? I would like to know why they want us to go back to the panel physician for the result. What should i expect when i go back to see the doctor?
