Just a short blog on Canadian Language Benchmark Test: http://tabs179.wordpress.com/2014/05/28/taking-the-canadian-language-benchmark-clb-test-with-a-touch-of-the-forks-winnipeg/

It is not that you are not a good listener, it is just that we are educated/trained with getting the context with comprehension from the start of our schooling. "Naintindihan mo ba ang kwento? Naintindihan mo ba ang sinasabi ko?" This is different from "Naalala mo ba ang kwento?". This is perhaps why you automatically were grasping context rather than listening to the details .... most of us were trained that way - seeing the end result, the lesson, the moral, the context, rather than the details described. Plus the fact that we tend to be leaning towards visual rather than audio keys. Also - mas mabilis lang madalas tayong mag-isip kesa sa exam -- hehehehehehe :);):)

Hello po sa lahat!!! am back, sensya medyo matagal akong nawala dito.. finally, got a response from CEM, :).. hindi pa naman passport request yong email but then i considered it as positive response kasi sabi nila in progress pa daw ang application namin and they are still processing our application, meantime all we have to do is wait patiently. at least, we got a response from them. hopefully, kami na susunod dito na mga-PPR. congrats nga pala sa lahat ng nakatanggap na ng visa.. sa mga wala pa, wait nalang tayo and be positive always.

So suma-total....psychologically fit ka na to go to Canada.

.../happy weekend to all

absolutely! hehehe.. kasi ganun na ganun po ang nararamdaman ko ngayon.. stressed na di mawari. wala na kasi work si hubby, nagresign na kasi sya sa work last year, so ako nalang ang working. nakakapraning talaga ang paghihintay.. nyways, salamat sa mga information na nakuha ko sa inyo!

Update lang po, I received the PPR yesterday! Ayeeee! Thank you Lord and to everyone in this forum! :-* :D

Anyway just to share, I finished the one day and a half CIIP seminar and it's very informative! If you happen to receive your MR, I highly suggest you join. I'm an HR practitioner and a recruiter in the past, but what they've shared in the seminar was beyond what I know (of course I'm accustomed to the PH labor market). I'm thankful to Canada government's efforts to prepare me as early as now.

My two cents, if this whole application process has tested our patience, stretched our threshold a nodge, or tested our courage and perseverance, the process is not finished yet when we receive our visa. We will go through the same process as a newcomer in our province of choice. The bottom line, let's all maintain a positive attitude.

I sent my passport today and I pray PPV will be mine soon.

God bless everyone!

Also, would you know anu usually courier company kapag bumalik na yung passport to me. How much yung need bayaran? :)

Cheers!

Yup. Sana mgsend sila ng airway bill. Kasi that is the only way I can check kung anong oras darating. Just in case na madeliver na and ok na visa mo, when do you plan to fly to Winnipeg?

Di ba pwede pakiusapan ang DHL dyan to inform you of a time-sensitive and very critical package inbound from Manila?

I remember a few years back, kaunting chika-chika lang sa international desk ng DHL nakuha ng isang waiting applicant yung AWB number nya. It all depends kung me WB na which means sent na from CEM to courier ang PP package....
