It is not that you are not a good listener, it is just that we are educated/trained with getting the context with comprehension from the start of our schooling. "Naintindihan mo ba ang kwento? Naintindihan mo ba ang sinasabi ko?" This is different from "Naalala mo ba ang kwento?". This is perhaps why you automatically were grasping context rather than listening to the details .... most of us were trained that way - seeing the end result, the lesson, the moral, the context, rather than the details described. Plus the fact that we tend to be leaning towards visual rather than audio keys. Also - mas mabilis lang madalas tayong mag-isip kesa sa exam -- hehehehehehe
