marky14, apir! hehe ;D

tenshi, oo dito rin ako sa SG. Oo nasubmit ko na mga police certificate ko. Fifteen days na ba ang processing ngayon ng Singapore Police clearance? Nung February 10 days lang e.
Tapos ang NBI clearance ngayon e more than a week na ang processing pala! Ang weird kung kailan nagka-online application saka lalong tumagal. Dati same day makukuha di ba? :-X

Thank you, Milsrome! I really got confused with the chart they have in the website and then their letter was confusing too or maybe my brain has just become really slow, hehehe. CEM has indeed returned my bank draft, they sent it to my Philippines address and my parents had to pay 175pesos to receive it! :o

By the way, did you use DHL to send your RPRF too? Which branch did you go too? Also for sending your passports? I only see DHL dropbox in Cheers, I'm not sure how that works, I'm not comfortable with just dropping off stuff so usually I go all the way to LBC in Lucky Plaza.

I used DHL when i sent my rprf and passport and so far
service has been excellent. They have drop boxes in speedbox
& jolly-b in LP. It takes a day for them to deliver
your package to CEM. So if you send your package
today, usually it will be recieved by CEM tomorrow. You just need
to get the AWB so you can track your package on their
website.

Korek! 15 working days! Apr 28 pa release nung sa akin

NBI kumuha ako nung Nov, so bawas na sa requirement ko.

About RPRF, why not pay online?

Tenshi, the RPRF can't be paid online, only thru bank draft, certified cheque, manager's cheque or postal money order. I wish nga it was as convenient as paying thru credit card e like the initial application fee.

Milsrome, I hope you don't mind, may I ask how much was the DHL fees for sending the rprf and passports?

SGD 35 each

Thanks for the info, Milsrome! LBC and Singpost charges $25 and it is also DHL that couriers for them but it takes 2-4 working days and I am not happy with the service actually. I think I'll try the DHL dropbox this time.

Hi ChrisPWA,

When i sent our PPs from Singapore to CEM, it took
about 18 days before they returned our PPs
with Visa. I opted the return of our PPs via
International Courrier Collect by indicating our
foreign address and contact info on the Appendix A form.
Suprisingly, DHL delivered our package back to our Singapore address
without any prior notice nor collected any fee.

All the best,
Milsrome

Did you land in Canada? I also mention in appendix a my int'l address, you mean no need to inform the DHL regarding courier collect? as per DHL qatar you need to inform them so that they can inform dhl manila for pickup...so no need to worry pla they will send automatically. thanks!

ohhh, is the payment of the RPRF thru online something newly implemented? CEM did not mention this option when they requested the payment. But looking at the cic website, it seems it can be paid online! Whaaaaaa, I'm confused again, hehehe.

Not yet. Will do our Landing by July, bakasyon
muna sa Pinas. I didn't informed DHL Singapore
regarding the courier collect, but it seems CEM
paid for the courier of our passports back to Singapore since DHL
didn't asked for the collect fee. As long as you've
indicated your Qatar address in the form then no need to worry.
Your passport attached with the maple leaf will surely
return to you in a matter of days.

All the best,
Milsrome

This is the link that CEM indicated in their email requesting the RPRF:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/visas/fees-frais.aspx?view=d
I didn't find any mention there about paying online. Also, on their letter when they returned my bank draft with the wrong amount, they did not mention an option to pay online.

Anyway, even if we do pay online, we still have to send the receipt to CEM i believe? So I think I'll still go with the bank draft.
