You only need to go to main LTO with a copy of your license, then fill in the forms they give you and pay P100. You receive a paper, with a date 7-10 days after to collect your certification at DFA main for the red ribbon. Which I heard also cost P100.

we noticed that B4 form (PERSONAL EFFECTS ACCOUNTING DOCUMENTS) can accomodate only up to 8 items.

In this case, are we allowed to prepare a Supplemental or Additional list to write all the items that we are bringing in?

PAANO PO ANG INYONG GINAWA SA CASE NINYO? PWEDE PO BA MAGLISTA NA LANG NG ILANG ITEMS SA B4 FORM AT MAGLAGAY NA LANG NG "SEE ATTACHED LIST".

Ung "Attached List" ay ginawa na lang namin via EXCEL Program na i p print out namin.

Thank you po sa reply nyo ulit!!! (Balik empake ulit kami.) :)

Pwede. Two ways:

1. Use your own List.

Sa B4 after ng first table - (space for 8 items) then yung next section is for Conveyances (o kung mag-iimport ng sasakyan etc.) - space for 3 items. Next is this section:

Additional List of Goods >

Paki-Check mo yung Other then attach your accompanying list (yung excel). When you present this, make sure attached yung printout ng excel mo.

2. Use Form B4A as your "list"

Sa B4 after ng first table - (space for 8 items) then yung next section is for Conveyances (o kung mag-iimport ng sasakyan etc.) - space for 3 items. Next is this section:

Additional List of Goods >

Paki-Check mo yung BSF186A then attach your B4A. Form B4 is also known as BSF186.

Of the two - most used ng mga first-time immigrants is the first method. The 2nd method is good if you have goods to follow (not accompanying you but will be shipped via cargo later)....

Also - Classification Type is Settler.

Kami rin... we had 8 luggages (23kgs each). VERY LENIENT sila sa first-time immigrants. May 100 kilos pa nga ako na dumating after arriving sa Winnipeg which I sent just before we left Manila via DHL. Of course, I have declared rin sa form na ibinigay ng airlines na may unaccompanied baggage ako to follow.

ramcal, I am not sure if you still need to certificate a PROF license. But as far as I am concerned, it was mentioned by Serge at COA, that it is also good to have it certified and red ribbon so that there won't be any question about its authenticity. And you can drive for 90 days I think. (Guys, please correct me if I am wrong).

kelotz, I had my license last year and I told this to my uncle. But he still insisted to have it certified and red ribbon kasi daw, despite that I will have to study again, I won't need to wait 1 whole year to get a Manitoba license.

So kailangan pa makita ng Customs ang B4A after dumating ang cargo, then nakita na declared as unaccompanied baggage, then stamped. No taxes naman kasi under pa ng tarriff for Settler.
