just a question to those who are already in Winnipeg, are the govt agencies open during these dates? if they're closed then it means that i have to wait for 1 week !

Yeah, I new about the holidays, that's why I decided to just enjoy my time at my friend's in Vancouver. It's my very first holiday in 2 years (and a few months). So, enjoy enjoy na muna ako. My uncle told me that some holidays are only for government officials, such as Easter Monday.

Just wondering if there are cases when LOA was already given by MPNP and yet denied issuance of permanent resident visa by CIC. Anxiety attacks!

Yes - but wala pa akong naririnig from CEM. Other forums and VOs meron na ilan-ilan. You can check one of the earlier posts dito ng success rates ng applications - meron section dun about applications na di-successful. You may need to backread a bit.

Note that eligibility under a PNP does not guarantee admissibility into Canada. These are separate processes. The province (using the provincial nominee program) determines eligibility for immigration of a candidate under the criteria specified under the program. So there will be checks - but these are specifically for eligibility to be a provincial nominee. Getting an LoA - essentially this is validation of the applicant's eligibility. The next step is to be admitted as an immigrant into the country, and determination of admissibility is part of the next process - the federal process of applying as an immigrant that starts by sending your application to the CIO.

Between the time from getting an LoA and getting the immigrant visa, there maybe lots of changes, sometimes in immigration policies, oftentimes in applicant's status etc. These may contribute to the possibility of denials/unsuccessful applications.

Don't dwell on the possibilities of denial, instead, look for ways to ensure a complete application. I always advise - buo dapat ang kwento na makikita sa application mo.

Yes - but note if the holiday falls on a weekend (Sat/Sun), then the immediate coming Monday is a holiday. So madaming long-weekends. Oftentimes, employee vacation days are not convertible to compensation (different in the PH and in some other countries) so vacation time is really taken and used up. Plan vacations with holidays in mind - makikita mo mahaba yun.

Yun nga lang, you will really miss the beaches.....

may tanong po ako, nag punta kami nang DHL office kahapon para mag send nah nang application to CIO, pero kaylangan daw nang contact person. they wont send it without that info daw po. ano or sino po yung ilalagay as contact person? thank you so much po

We also had our package delivered thru DHL. Nagtanong sila ng contact person but i told them na wala. Sa office lang mismo. Sabi ng nag-assist saken if that's the case iaabot lang daw un kahit kanino sa office. Sbi ko oo. May tracking service nman sila and my package was received by a certain, Doug. Un lang ung sabi nila na 2-3 days delivery, naging 8days.

As we continue packing up things,

we noticed that B4 form (PERSONAL EFFECTS ACCOUNTING DOCUMENTS) can accomodate only up to 8 items.

In this case, are we allowed to prepare a Supplemental or Additional list to write all the items that we are

bringing in?

PAANO PO ANG INYONG GINAWA SA CASE NINYO?

PWEDE PO BA MAGLISTA NA LANG NG ILANG ITEMS SA B4 FORM AT MAGLAGAY NA LANG NG "SEE ATTACHED

LIST".

Ung "Attached List" ay ginawa na lang namin via EXCEL Program na i p print out namin.
