Cge cge, duon na lang tayo magkita. Same naman ang time frame ng pag-landing natin if ever I get my visa.

Next week ako mag-papamedicals. Intay ko muna yung all clear ng doctors ko bukas as I need that clearance paper as well.

Ang bilis ng CEM lately, sana hindi sila tamarin pag-balik from the holidays. LoL ;D ;D ;D

You're welcome. Yes, you will have to be present for the medical examination. Although I know there is an IOM in Cebu and they are much more reliable than IOM Manila. So, no travelling really needed for you, until you buy your ticket for Canada!

Hi, pwede po ba malaman kung may grace period ang pagpunta sa Canada pagkatanggap mo ng visa?

OFW ako dito sa SG, at gusto ko sana makapagstay sa Pilipinas para ayusin ang mga bagay-bagay before moving to Canada.

Wala naman "grace period" officially, but usually merong few months in between receiving back the PPs with the visa and the visa validity/expiry date. Yun yung masasabing "grace period". Kailangan nasa Canada ka na at nag-land ka na before the expiry ng visa otherwise, paso na ang visa mo at di ka papayagang mag-enter ng Canada.

Pwede mo naman estimate ang time ng validity ng visa mo - usually it is 1 year from when medicals were received at the CEM/VO. So if your medicals received is for example on 12 Dec 2013, then following the "usual trend" the visa expiry date expected to be granted is 13 Dec 2013. Most visas are issued and returned before that expiry date and the applicant does have a few months in between to tend to the preparations for relocation/immigration to Canada.

To ensure your visa expiry date is granted up to the validity of the medicals - make sure your passport validity does not expire before the medicals (see example above). So if your PP is nearing expiry, better renew as soon as possible before PPR comes.
