guys, I have a question. How do you get nominated. Did you look for an employer first? I want to help a friend... :-[

Time limits are unique for each applicant although the most common is 30days. Mine was 60days also ... .

Take it as it is, it give you more time to heal after surgery and prepare for the IME. Note reading closely in the instructions that the 60 day limit or any MR/IME limit specifies only to "make arrangements" or schedule your IME, not up to the time when MR/IME results should be sent and received at CEM/CIC. I read it as to schedule and complete the IME within the period specified in the instructions, but does not include the submission of IME/MR results to CEM/CIC.

Hindi po ako aware dun sa fee amounting to $250 but yung $550 is the processing fee for CIC and $490 is the right of permanent residence fee. $550 each is paid for the principal applicant and spouse and I paid only $150 each per dependent ($450 since I have 3 kids below 11 years old). RPRF of $490 each is paid only for the principal applicant and spouse. Kids have no RPRF.

Yes, PDOS is a compulsory requirement.

Hello po. Andito na po ako sa Canada nagyun at on process na po ang papers ko under AINP semi skilled category. Nag medical po ako last July 30 pero hanggang ngayun wala pa rin po ako natatanggap na reply, samantalang yung kasabayan ko eh hiningan ng embassy ng additional police clearance na galing dito sa Canada nung october at ngayun eh may passport request na sila. Lahat po ba hinihingan talaga ng police clearance or depende lang?

May isang problema pa po ako eh hindi ko po ma check online ang status ko simula nung friday. hindi ko po alam kung bakit pero worried na po ako kung bakit ganun samantalang dati naman eh lagi ko nachecheck. Kailangan ko na ba mag email sa embassy or mag hintay pa rin ako sa response nila? salamat po sana may maka tulong sa akin.

Regarding yung police clearance, required for all applicants aged 18 and above for all countries that you've been a resident of for 6 months or more( see cic website regarding police certificate ). Sa case namin na request yung police certificates before medical for both Singapore and Philippines.

Yung sa online status access, if ECAS yung nirerefer mo, nawalan din ako access for almost a week. Nag send ako ng case specific enquiry, di sila nag respond pero after a few days naka check na ulit ako ng status ko. Since nasa Canada ka you have the option to call the call centre number (contacts page of cic on call center number usage states that: You should only contact the Call Centre if you have submitted an application from within Canada and:

• if you cannot verify the status of your application using the online application status tool

)
