Thanks Akinito & Zepthkinsey,

Wala naman...OK naman yung account settings. What's so peculiar with the email message is it's just a one-liner and and there's no standard signature space of ADVO. I was suspecting that maybe they don't want me to cc. CEM for every mail (BTW, I was requesting a file transfer from ADVO to CEM) I'm sending them because prior to ADVo's email I have received an email from CEM reiterating that my file is NOT with them and I should communicate only with ADVO. The message is so VAGUE and I'm having second thoughts whether to seek further clarification...baka kasi masyado nang makulitan...hayyyy HIRAP!

Are you now working? Adjustment period pa yan :)

Congrats kvalc, my fellow March-CIO applicant.

sana nga ganun ang system nila. kasi ako nakuha ko pa yung LOA ko from MPNP last 31st of May 2013. Hndi ko lang naipasa agad kasi yung passports ng mag-iina ko ay mag expire na ng March 2014. So, im thinking that CIO might ask us again to renew it. But when we renewed t, it took us more than a month to get the renewed passports. Kaya last July 8 lang namin naipasa... but i think it is better for us to renew it rather than worrying that in the end, CIO will send back our documents becasue of this reason.. :)

Same here April 30, 2013 nmn date ng LOA, received mid-May, but because of my NBI clearance na inabot ako ng syam-syam para makuha kya June 26 lang nreciv ng NS-CIO ung app ko.

Nope - there is no relation of provincial quotas with federal processing.

Per year, the province requests at the federal level either to increase/decrease/maintain province quota levels under the provincial nominee program. It is the province that maintains the quota levels depending on the need and the economic plans of the province and not the Federal Government. The sum total of projected requirements of all provinces for immigration under the PNP program is the level for the year. The PNP program was devised to give more control to the Provinces in defining immigration levels to their province. If you have successfully passed and have obtained provincial nomination, then that is counted in the quota for the province for the year, NOT for the Federal. Federal then has their own timelines for processing the applicant because they determine admissibility into the country. There is no slot per se or after you have passed Provincial level - all applicants fall into the provincial nominee processing queue for the VO.

Hi Ragluf,

I receive a one-line email from ADVO which I cannot understand... "Please stop using the block to see your emails." Any idea what it means?

Thanks....

No idea - too short for the reply.

Have you verified the header to see if it did come from ADVO? You can always ask them back considering you did not understand what it meant.

In the generic form under Educational/occupational details of my spouse,Number of years in elementary is 6 and in high school is 4 and in college he has has only completed the 4th year first semestral . How many number of years do i put in the number of years of education in total?

You can answer this question based on records that you have. If you have the ToR and it is seen there that completed studies is only up to partial of a year, then you can put a fraction. 6 + 4 + 3 + 0.5 (1 semester if a school year/term is 2 semesters, 0.35 if a school term is tri-semeter).

If that was the case, then I would have qualified for expedited processing, having gotten my LOA Feb 2011, but only submitting it end of Jan 2012. If I were reserved a quota at CIO, then CEM should have processed my file much faster.

As it stands, I got PRVs mid Oct 2012, which is still within baseline processing at CEM based on their Open Data. :) :). Compare this to the timelines most of the new applicants processed by CEM post 2012 for PNPs, then my timeline is long, as I have seen PRVs issued within 6 months of the application since then.

The mysteries of CIO and CEM still....
