thanks rag.. I hope ok na lahat since yun mode of payment lang yun naging major problem sa apps namin.. One thing para saan yun UCI#? nung binalik kasi sa amin meron na nakasulat..

Same as mine in my first application attempt - wrong mode of payment. At that time I used a payment for WPs - not the correct form (which is IMM5620 for PR applications). Just correct it and it will be fine.

For definition of UCI - see here : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=013&t=4

If this is your first time to transact with CIC (no previous WPs/TRVs etc.) - you do not have a UCI yet. The UCI becomes your permanent number (think of it as a student number :) ) used to identify you and link your applications together. So you need to secure your UCI and protect it. Any future transactions with CIC - you will use your UCI.

Once you get your application sent and eligibility requirements check complete at CIO - an AOR will be sent back - and usually this includes your assigned UCI and Application File number. Either of these can be used to track your application and any correspondence sent to the VO must include your UCI and/or Application File number so they can link your submissions to the proper file.

As to the one stamped on your returned application - treat this as not-yet assigned to you and unconfirmed, so do not use it for resubmitting your application. Your official assigned UCI and Application File Number should be the one on your AOR. They (CIC) may re-use/re-assign it to you but until you have confirmation via your AOR, treat it as if you do not have any UCI .

One note here on the UCI - why you should treat it with care and secure it - as I saw on my PR card, your UCI is also indicated on your PR card - actually I think it is the PR card #.

Pls give me thoughts on this, my application is on the stage of paying my RPRF and sending Police Clearance
of other country where I lived. Actually just sent those documents recently and waiting for the PPR. While approval is still pending My worry is that my IELTS will expire March 25, 2013 after 2 years.
Will they require me to take IELTS again? Is there anyone who have the same situation. Thanks for the reply.

My take on this - you should not worry now as you have not received anything from CIO first and then from CEM/CIC requiring you to prove/provide proof of language proficiency again.

The Language proficiency requirement - if you are required to present proof - is part of the list of documents required to be submitted with your application to CIO-NS. And this should be part of the eligibility checks done by CIO. If you have passed the eligibility checks done by CIO and you have a file at CEM or your local VO, then at this point, they have found nothing wrong with your proof of language proficiency.

Having been into the stage now where you are requested to provide PCCs means you are now at minimum, under security/criminality checks. If you have also completed medicals, then your checks are progressing. The only thing I came up with in a search of CIC is expiry of medical results which may trigger re-medicals/extension of validity of medicals ; but nothing for expiry of IELTS results. There are validity requirements for language tests - but these fall under applicants for FSW and not for PNP.

Unless requested of you, don't worry, and if anything is needed, they (CIC/CEM) will send you notice/a request.

I think we had a thread for this before where in we discussed these - see this:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t125213.0.html

I recall a conversation I had with an applicant - he also did not refresh the returned app, and the assigned UCI was the one that was marked on his returned app. As I mentioned, they (CIC) may re-assign the same UCI to you as marked on your returned package.

In any case it will turn all right :).

Maraming salamat sa inyo :) , such a wonderful blessing, so thankful talaga!
@ Psychgradako - sa St, Luke's ako, Feb 1 ako nagpa medical, tapos meron addtl Hepa Tests, Feb 6 nila na fwd yung medicals ko then feb 14th meron update sa eCAS.. i had a very good experience naman with St Luke's .
God Bless sa ating lahat!

Hi pareyles,

may i know which doctor from st. lukes kayo nag pa medical? besides being fast, mukhang you were satisfied with your med exam. we got our MR and RPRF request last march 19 and we are scouting na for a clinic to do our med exam. thank you for your inputs!

Hi Interested,
I forgot na her name, pero sila nag assign kung kanino doctor, bibigyan ka lang ng room number ng doctor na mag physical exam.
Mabilis sa akin siguro kasi single applicant lang ako

Good luck sa medicals mo :D
