Ah - I thought that was a typo!
Nothing to worry at this point as I see it. And these messages (the eCAS explanations - see the tables at the bottom of your eCAS under "Application for Permanent Residence Outside Canada") may not appear on your eCAS status. I am assuming here you were asked to send in a Schedule A or asked for a verification of your bio-data as part of the PPR. Unless there is something wrong with your passports (tampering etc.) - which is highly unlikely, well...all you have to do it wait for your PPs to be returned back with the visas.
As to the purpose of the statement -
Your visa(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until 10/30/2013 . - this shows the expiry date of the visa. You need to enter/land Canada before the expiry date of your visa.
Final confirmation of approval is always upon receipt of your CoPR and PR visas, so wait a bit until they (PPs) return back.
