@ Mayonnaise - Just the same, to ensure CEM does take notice of documents sent in via courier or dropbox, I sent scanned copies via email ( hehehe I sent them a 'Notification from Applicant Message' - if CEM or CIC gives an AOR, well I can send them back an AoR, everytime they send me a letter, and I can send them a notification everytime I send back what they require), which I think flooded their inbox due to the size and number of the file attachments. So I sent multiple emails, breaking down the attachments, but numbering them in the subject lines of my emails (i.e. email 1 of 5, etc.) all with a preface formal letter.

So lo and behold, I got a reply via email, instructing me that these should be sent via courier or dropbox. I replied back saying they were already sent via dropbox on the date of the email. Well my intention was just to notify CEM of the docs I sent, and having them reply back to my emails, for me, show they are now aware I sent them the requirements back. So they can't reason out (in case needed down in the future) that I was amiss in fulfilling their instructions or they have not received anything back from me - I have the email reply from them as proof they are aware I sent them the required documents. :). Sort of an extracting an acknowledgement from CEM, something very hard to get.... :). Who knows, I may need it later down the line :)

CEM received my payment yesterday and just as you suggested, i scanned my bank draft and the courier receipts. i replied to their email and told them that its already there in their office.

is it okay if i just reply to the original email they sent me? or do i have to send it to a different email address?

Hi Guys.

Received our PPR kanina but email was dated yesterday - so maski holiday - check check check pa din ng email/ecas!!! :)

Our ECAS status still on Application received, by the way, though madaming mga iba na talagang nauupdate to In Process ang status before nila mareceive ang PPR - so sa mga nagkabantay sa ECAS - wag nyo kakalimutan icheck pa din ang email nyo maski walang update.

To our group admin, paupdate naman po ng timeline natin :)

Nov 28 - received app in CEM
January 30 - AOR
February 28 - MR
March 5- Medical Done
April 14- Ecas changed to meds received
May 28 - RPRF and addtl docs requested
August 20 - PPR

Yung mga iba kong nakakausap hininga sila ng new NBI clearance kasabay ng PPR nila. So I guess para sa mga waiting dyan na makapit na mag PPR - it wont hurt to try to get NBI clearance na. :)

Sobra tagal nman processing ngayon

@ Pinoy2manitoba Do you have any idea kung gaano kabilis ang passport renewal?

Hello everyone,

I'll be applying for a General Stream and I was advised to take an IELTS exam first before submitting my application (since the certificate is now one of the requirements). I'm on process now of my IELTS and planning to take the exam on October 13. Does anyone know the time frame for the processing of General Stream? From submission of documents for nominee to stamping of visa? Your reply will be appreciated. :)

Perhaps it will be sooner...

Folks - I see jamilon, mayonnaise and I have received PPR this week. It has been a while that we have received good news from CEM. I pray this signals the start of good news to all waiting. I also see some good news coming from CEM from the Family Class forums - so things are moving. I am hopeful there will be more good news in the weeks to come...
