I am about to submit our visa application to CIO - Nova Scotia and I was wondering if somebody submitted theirs without having the photocopies of passports, birth certificates and LOA not notarized and was not returned? I'm submitting ours with photocopies not notarized since it's not specifically stated in the checklist to have photocopies be notarized. I hope it will be OK. Thanks

hi anybody here knows the codes that are included at the end of the file number like KMR,CLB,MAR? example: BxxxxxxxxKLR, BxxxxxxxxCLB ,BxxxxxxxxMAR

hi thanks napansin mo din pala,i've noticed kasi everytime na may email sa akin ang cem iba iba ang code sa dulo ng file number ko.meron kaya dito nakakaalam ang ibig sabihin non.kasi kahit sa caips codes walang meaning yun.malaman lang natin meaning nun malalaman natin ang status ng app natin cguro...yuhooo!! anybody here hehe.

hi all. it seems that CEM is still in vacation mode. i should have been next in line to receive the AOR and eventually the MR. after holy week wala na. Patience is a virtue and I just hope that I get more of it.

Just wondering, Am I the only one who did not include the RPRF Fee in the original package sent to Nova Scotia/ Manila? It was not on the checklist and I was not aware that adding it in the original package may help speed up the process (as said on other threads/forums) .

Can somebody please help me find the form for paying it? I might just send it because Ive already done my medicals and Manila still has not requested for me to pay it.

I did not also include RPRF payment in the package to NS-CIO. Same reason - was not on the new checklist. I made a call to CIC call centre here in Canada before sending the package, what they advised me was to send in the package with just the PF and I will be advised in succeeding messages when to provide the payment. The instructions to provide the payment for the RPRF came with the MR and the additional documents I need to submit.

1. did you send your application to Manila or to Buffalo? and
2. What other documents did they ask for?

I sent mine to manila. I received my medical request already, but i didnt see an intruction to pay it (RPRF) and they never asked me fr addntl documents. ???
