Yehey! Received an email stating that our visas are ready to be issued.

Congratulations! This is I guess something new when releasing a Canada visa, just like the practice UK embassy here do.

I emailed them again when I got home from the clinic and told them the info I got from SLEC. The clinic told me that it would take a max of 3 weeks for them to finalize and send our reports to CEM but I plan to call to follow up next week because who knows, right? They might be quicker than usual and also so they won't forget to keep it moving along. I also remember during our initial med exam they sent my report with a week, my two other kids the week following and my husband's on the third week.

May i ask how many hours did you spent on the immigration counter in Vancouver? I got a connecting flight from Narita and i got 4 hrs lay over in Vancouver. You think that's enough?

4 hours is more than enough! Kami actually has 3.5 hrs lay over sa Vancouver. Unfortunately 2 hours na lang ang natira due to delay of the flight from Hkg.

its been a while since my last visit here in this thread. it has been a very busy month for us ..ang dami palang aasikasuhin. ..

anyway, i have a friend who will also be migrating this coming april ( 1 week later than us) . But ang problem ay hindi na nya makita yung baby book or even his childrens pedia. Hindi nya alam kung papaano nya ipepresent yung vaccination records ng mga children nya.

Sa akin kasi well kept yung baby book at iisa lang ang pedia ng mga anak ko, so madali lang naming napapirma yung vaccination form.

wala rin akong mai advise sa kanya kasi hindi ko rin alam ang isasagot ko..

sabihan mo ang friend mo na kung may close friend/relative silang doktor ay pa-fill-up and sign na lang ang vaccine forms....wala nang magtatanong nyan dito....for enrollment purpose lang ng mga kids yan dito....thanks....

hello sa lahat... miss ko na itong forum... tagal na rin na di ako nag log.. andito na kami winnipeg with my family.. since january 21... still looking for job.. naku napakalamig talaga dito... puro snow kaya nahihirapan pa us maka hanap work..mahirap lumabas... sa mga naghihintay pa ng visa.. while waiting e mag enroll sa mga skilss na pwedeng gamitin dito ung nmga inooffer ng tesda. sa mga andito sa winnipeg hello musta na kayu... pm me naman kung may mga available jobs kayong alam thanks...

Hi AnL, its good na marinig ka at mag share ka ng experience mo. ano kaya pwedeng i enroll? nirerecognize kaya dyan ang TESDA? short courses na lang cguro ano?

according to my sponsor, kahit daw april pa kami dyan mag land ay nags-snow pa rin dyan... regards and sana mag share ka pa ng experiences mo dyan
