soooooooo they changed up the portal..

We will send you an email each time there is something new or needed in the portal, but you can also check this portal regularly for updates.

Once your self-declaration of your presence in Canada has been accepted, you will be able to download your electronic copy of your confirmation of permanent residence document(eCoPR) in this portal. If you have previously been landed and already have your proof of permanent residence status, eCoPR will not be available for download.

Once both your photo and address are accepted, your permanent resident card will be mailed to the mailing address you have provided.
Is this written on the e portal @Yuki.03 ?

I don't get what's different now though

yes, they somewhat updated the portal. not much change. jus now instead of an accepted address for copr, it's the declaration.
Well that's better for getting eCOPR, but maybe will make the card slower? lol
I hope this doesn't change anything for people who got COPR already via the portal. Last time I logged ins for my mother, it showed the the address is accepted but they are still reviewing the picture. Do you think we need to upload the pic again or anything?

You don't need to, I did the declaration and everything came back up. showing address accepted and pic in review.

Guys, my dependent now is planning to get married as a PR with her boyfriend. Can she sponsor him or is there any chance that she will lose her PR after getting married? Or can she even sponsor him? Thanks a lot!

Got Aproval and COPR # in the GCkey,no pdf. Whats the next thing to apply for the first PR Card?
You will get the pdf of eCOPR very soon via email. Although you haven't got the pdf or card yet, you're now a permanent resident of Canada, so no need to worry. Regarding the card, as far as I understand you didn't get an e-portal, right?

If this is the case, they will send you an email of the pdf (Copr) and give you instructions about sending a pic with a copy of your copr to a certain address....etc. Instructions will be sent with pdf. I know someone who got the card one month after they sent the picture via mail but it says maximum 120 days ( 4 months ) on the cic website. My advice to all, don't get stressed about the card, it will come, the most important thing is that you got your COPR issued and from now on everyday is counting towards your citizenship. God bless.

It shows me 3 days remaining (it would be 20 months) but I don't believe that, I heard a lot of people didn't get DM pithing the timeframes :) Criminanity,Eligibility,Medical done, Additional documents (CV)provided. Only security left. My birthday is in a month, so I'm self-confident enough to be sure that ircc will congratulate me :)
We are typical in everything, I guess you applied end of May like me and made PCC end of Feb 2020 and they extend your medical Dec 13 or around ... if yes then we are same
