another useless bump

Lol. A shameless bump! I don't have a magic answer for you. It sounds as though it would make sense to spend your time in SL with family. Is your hesitation based on needing to prove ties to Pk by being there when you apply for the study visa? I don't know if it would make any difference to the VO or not. Perhaps your strongest position is to show ties to SL. I have read a comment on another post that the VO doesn't care where you go as long as you don't remain in Canada after visa expiry. A cover letter outlining your situation with close family ties in SL may have a better ring than Pk where you have no investments OR social ties.
OK - there's my thought process. Hope someone else can give you more. Good luck.

yes! pippin replied.

I've actually spent today talking to a consultant from PK. He mirrored your advice.

I'm not sure about the answer.
I will go for option 1 because it is simple and no problem expect money .
But in option 2. , you will on study permit and will be applying for another study permit in another country.
If any question arises asking your present status in SL. Then the VO will be sure that you're not so dedicate towards studies. As you easily changing from One country to another for studies. May affect your travel history too [Because may be you wont be completing the studies in SL.]

Just a opinion. Contact with other seniors too.

Good Luck.
