Just to check everyone got the same letter. We received a 3 pager letter.

Page 1 has Client # XXXXX and KIT ID XXXXX and says we are pleased to .....
Page 2 has the sponsor obligations, that he/she must support the sponsored person
Page 3 is continuation to page 2 and has reference to form 1344B, fees etc.

Hope everyone got something similiar ......

Any idea how long it would take to become In Process at the Buffalo office. Its been 2 weeks since sponsorship approval(Oct 22).

In our case, they also enclosed the T4 and T5 sections of the sponsor's Option C printout.

I'm guessing you're talking about the sponsorship approval? I only received 2 pages from CPC-M. Not sure what the third page is for..

ok - so I got the email requesting my passport today 8 November - WOO HOO!!

They have asked me to bring or send it within 30 days with 3 recent photos of myself. Coo and easy to do.

But.........

I am leaving to go back to Australia with my wife and child as both my remaining grandparents are very ill and my son is the first great grandchild (and obviously grandchild for my parents). We are leaving on Nov 21 until Jan 12.

What are the chances that they would accept me sending it in on my return? I dont want to run the risk of losing my admission, but the alternative to go there before I fly is pretty limited - my passport is at the US consulate getting a visa as I am flying back via the US (I made the mistake thinking I could get through on the visa waiver but the recent changes stops me). Anyway I will get my passport back at the beginning of next week, leaving me with just 3 or 4 business days to get from montreal to buffalo.

Any thoughts or suggestions on which direction I should take??

Congratulations for PPR, changa1978!! That was super fast!!

From what I've read, they send you the passport back with the visa pretty fast (like a week or so). Is there any chance that you can delay your flight? Or maybe.. you could send your passport from Australia? Just some ideas..

my wife received her AOR Date Oct 20 from hong kong office today asking her to make sure she had travel documents to come to hong Kong immediately I am sure this is just a normal line they use with all mainlanders from hong kong embassy

Hey guys. I logged into e-cas today and the status says " We have begun processing ..... application since Nov 2nd". Does this mean that my application is in process in Damascus?
I still haven't recieved the sponsorship approval letter. What's going on? ???

yup, your visa office started processing your PR...they will send you letter asking your passport or some other documents...Goodluck!

An ECAS update for me this morning

London started processing my application on November 5th and medical results have been received

Fingers crossed they don't request further information!!
