It's now Wednesday where I am - did anyone's status get updated on ecas? I hope so! I was liking this 27 day trend :)
 
Hello Guys How are you doing? I HAVE NEWS!!!! Honestly I don't know what to believe bit in the Ecas says decision made on September 30 I have not gotten the letter but I am hoping is sponsorship approval, just to let you guys that they are working on time they got my application on sept 02 and made a decision on sept 30 so its about 28 days, which is pretty good!

For all of you whom don't know how to check thr process on ecas just log your sponsor information using the receipt number of the fees payment that is how I found out!

I let you know as soon as I know if it was approved when I get the letter or should I call???

Our application folder has been sent back saying it's incomplete. Our application is outland CPC-M and was received on 3rd of September 2010 by CPC-M, we come under ND as visa office. According to ECAS --- our records should get updated on this Wednesday.

- Do they also update on applications which was sent back saying imcomplete?
- We made online payment, so can we use the receipt # to punch in while accessing ECAS? something that starts with Rxxxxxx?
- How can we know what is missing in our application?

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT INCOPLETE APPLICATIONS BUT THE NUMBER YOU SAID IS THE ONE I USED TO ACCESS TO E CAS AND STARTS WITH RXXXXX ALSO USE THE NAME OF THE SPONSOR. CHEERS!

sorry to know that they sent back the application. I doubt they will update in eCas abt ur missing details.. They shud ve provided u in whatever they sent back.

And we received our official sponsorship approval letter yesterday, oct 5th.

whiteeagle: I'm very sorry to hear your application was returned :( If they didn't include a note I would go through all the forms, checking if they're signed and dated. Double check that you're not missing any form from the checklist. I am just guessing but maybe the mistake is on the sponsor's forms/documents submitted, as they check this part of the application at Mississauga. Good luck!

applied03: My receipt starts with R. I read that the letter changes depending on the region.

- Does calling at call center gives any infrmation?
- Do they add any note what is missing in or why is it incomplete?

Coz my sponsor is with me and we have given one of our trusted friend's address for correspondence. He just said, he has received a folder from CIC. She would be going back only on 1st week of November and we will have to wait till then.

Congrats to all who got the approval letters and good luck to others who are in line and expexting. God is Good!
 
thx bonbon9.but as far as i am reading in forums everyone's receipt no starts with R.............. is there anyone whose receipt no doesnt starts with R????????

I'm sorry but I don't know if they actually add a note. It would be found inside the returned folder, however. You can try calling the CIC call center number but I don't know if they can access tis info. Good luck!

I ordered my receipt online and paid at a bank. My receipt # starts with a C.
 
Finally got the letter today! I couldn't tell when I was actually approved as a sponsor so I called CIC and they told me the Approval was on September 30 and my file was transferred to Manila Visa Office on September 30 as well.

Here's yet another long wait! :)
