Welcome to the thread purple_woman and silvergray! We are happy to share our progress to have an idea of when everyone should be receiving an update in their process We're also here to support each other as we know this process is hard to go through.. Patience is the key!

Hi,

I sent my application to sponsor my daughter yesterday Sept 22 to Mississauga. It was received today. The visa processing office is NY, USA.

Please add me to the thread.

Do I get any acknowledgement letter from CIC now or it will come only after 4-5 weeks as it normally takes to process sponsorship applications.

Our application was also received by CIC today. Now there's nothing to do but wait. Good luck to everyone and hopefully we'll all get through quickly.

Anyone getting excited?!? Next week I'm certain there will start to be sponsor approvals for our thread!

According to August thread, a few days shy of one month it begins! Then our applications are on it's way to it's final desitination!

Haha, yeah, I got pretty crazy excited when I saw it jump from August 13 or so to August 23 in one week. I feel like I am counting down to Christmas... though I guess I should remember it is still another 8 months or more before the husband can actually get to Canada! Nevertheless, it is very exciting that the first hurdle will be over soon!

Police clearence
Medical check
copy of passport
Irish visa copy
Copy of marriage certificate
photos of wedding
printouts of emails and chats between us
orginals of invitation cards.
along with therequired forms am i missing any thing please advise
