has anyone recieved a letter from cic-m confirming there app was recieved yet?

CPC-M does not sent acknowledgments. The first thing you will hear from them will be the decision on your sponsorship - approved or denied. It should take about a month to get the decision.

Hi,

Can we find out status using the receipt number and other sponsor details on ecas now. Its not even a week since I sent the app. Or even this can be done after a month.

Thanks

thanks for counting me in...by the way our application was sent @ CPC-M last Sept. 4 and was received by the CPC-M last Sept 10. My visa office is in Manila...good luck everyone let's keep our fingers crossed! :)

Sent mine out on Friday the 17th... how do I go about checking the status of the application?

Sent Application September 16, 2010 and it arrived Sydney, Nova Scotia on September 22, 2010. I tracked it online with FedEx.

Filed under NOC 1122. Visa office is Manila.

Now the waiting begins!

Welcome to the thread, Lifer and urbinajanice!
Good luck with your applications! :)

urbinajanice: I have added you to the thread, however I don't really know FSW1 process, but I suppose it doesn't work with sponsorships does it? Anyway you'll know when we start receiving our answers, I hope it will help you to have an idea when you'll receive an answer as well :)

Lifer: We have to keep trying to log in on eCAS with our Receipt number.. I asked the August thread how long we should wait until we can log in on it, but I didn't get an answer :( Ive been trying but nothing, I'll let you guys know when I can finally log in. :)

It took a month before I was able to log in to Ecas from when I sent my application. Make sure to log in with your sponsor's information (name, date of birth, country) because this is what will show up first. It took another few weeks before my name and info could be used (i'm the applicant). I just used the financial reciept number. Oh, one more thing, don't copy and paste the receipt number from another document. Ecas for some reason rejects the number if you copy and paste.

Thanks a lot for the help! :)
I didn't know that copy-pasting the number was rejected by eCAS, I've been doing that all the time! :-X

You will be able to log on E-cas approx. a month after your application was sent and only to tell you that the Sponsorship has been approved (or not).

Check CIC application processing time to have an idea of which dates are they currently working on. They update that page every Tuesday.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/process-in.asp#sponsorship
It now shows that they are currently working on Applications received up to August 23rd...That should change tomorrow Tuesday.

Dear All,

Greetings from India.

I have sent my application to Mississauga for processing on 27/09/10. Application received 28/09/10.

I'll post the progress here.

God is Good...

Many thanks to all and Bonbon.

It only rejects it sometimes, I'm not really sure why.

Bonbon I think you'll have to retire me from the September thread as I may be an October baby. Everything almost done but I'll be sending it in Oct for sure! I'll miss you lol :)

Hi urbinajanice, I think you are in the wrong forum. FSW is federal skilled workers and this is for family class sponsorships. So here we're going to be whining about how much we miss our spouses.

Make sure to check out http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/skilled-worker-professional-immigration-b4.0/. This is where you will find information to help with your application. :)
