Hello Everyone! Just checked online today and our application status officially changed to In Process on October 7, 2010 at Buffalo. Yay to know its not just sitting around there and actually being looked at!

congrats! Our sponsorship is also approved on Sep 27th and file is transferred to New Delhi. Though I dont see the In Progress status yest It still says Permanant Residence status not available.

Unless you have used a service that asks for a signature when your package arrives to its destination, you won't be able to confirm if they have received it. The only way is to wait to see "Decision made" on eCAS (make sure you're trying to log in with the sponsor's information!). You sent the package on the 17th, so if your package would have arrived the day after (in the best case) you would be getting an answer with Decision made this week or maybe the next one. Don't panic yet!

BTW, I notice that 'office' is blank in my line. Since we live in Thailand, our application will be processed in Singapore, assuming the sponsorship application goes through.

It's not possible to log in until they've made a decision You'll have to keep trying!

Heloo everyone!

So, sadly my wife just called and said our application was sent back as incomplete! We were expecting it so it was no surprize!
The reason being that our fee payment was not excepted. We paid by money order and never submitted the IMM 5401 receipt form.
No worries though! We are a strong family and can get through just about anything life puts in our way! We decided to pay online today, print the receipt, add some more proof and send it away again first thing tomorow!

Positive thinking is the best way to get through life's challenges and thats how we are making this process as stress free as we can!

Aww I'm sorry to hear that they returned your application
Good luck for the new application that you'll submit! My advice is to try to consider CIC's new changes in their regulations, and point out in your cover letter that your marriage is genuine, and not just a way to gain status in Canada. Send as much proof as possible!

if my hubsand name is Endry Javier Perez Mandoza
What is his Surename? i try it so many times. but they said . they were not able to retrieve my file...

because, i put PEREZMANDOZA no space and all capital...
Anyone can share? thanks so much

I assume surname refers to what you put down as the Sponsor's surname/family name - exactly as you put it in the apps you sent them.

Also, if our table is anything to go by, you're probably not due to be able to log on for at least another week, so I wouldn't worry just yet!
