Hey Naz

Glad you've had some movement on your case. It sounds encouraging that after all this time you get to talk to someone face to face. Each time I've dealt with them I've been pleasantly surprised that they are actually normal people.

What a bummer that you've gotta go to London though. If you need a visa to go there, apply for one right away citing the reason and marking it as urgent. I've seen somewhere that the London CIC agents also travel to Ireland and (someone please correct me if this is wrong) Iceland to conduct interviews.

Hi i dnt know wt to do? i cant get visa for UK that quick.

What about in 3 months' time? Like they said, you can re-schedule it. Contact them and explain your situation. You will be able to work something out.

My application was sent to London on 11th of April but still not under process :-[

Do they take second interview?

IANAL but it sounds like you have two chances, the interview date they've given you and a date you set up with them approx. three months from the date of the first one.

Hello,

Can I ask you all for some advice. I am in the process of applying, my spouse is Canadian and I live in the UK.
I have my medical on Thursday, now do they give me the information I need to send to my spouse immediately or do I have to wait,
If so how long?

Also once the forms get sent to London from Ontario how do they contact you, is it by post or e-mail?
and do they contact me or my spouse in Canada?

Thanks for your help!

Morning

Hey,

At the medical they give you the form back right away. Its green if i remember correctly and you need to include this with the initial application. So forward it to your husband as soon as you can. I assume he has all the other forms filled out and ready to go, and you have both signed the sponsorship undertaking (or whatever its called!) form.
All the forms are then submitted to mississauga where your husband will be assessed as a sponsor. After about a month, if he is approved as a sponsor (and most people are) they will forward the application to CHC London.
Both offices, Mississauga and London use both means to communicate. I got a letter from CHC Miss, and and email from CHC London.
CHC M will contact your husband as he is the sponsor, CHC London will contact you at your UK address.

Anything else I can help with then let me know.

I have created a spreadsheet of people going through the London office to show timelines. Click the link to have a look. Average number of days from filing the application to receiving PPR is about 106 days, not too bad!

Pinklady,

Thank you very much for the helpful information.

That spreadsheet is fantastic!!!!

Do you do all the up-dating? If so will give you my timelines as and when.

Thanks again.

Morning!

Actually one other sneaky question, I initially applied under the FSW class and they wanted everything notarising, but I can't find anywhere to say that I need to do it for this application. Is that correct?

Morning - for my application it wasnt necessary to have anything notorized. However for official documents or something that really strengthens your case it's advisable, it just gives them a bit more authenticity especially if they are a key part of your proof.

Can plz reply me for this question.
Is it possible to transfer the case to Canada? As I am unable to give the interview in Uk.

Looking forward for any answer on that....
