I forgot to ask BeeSisk. What was your timeline? Cheers!

We sent the application off in October and it went into processing on Feb 1st. After going into processing, it only took them 3 days to reach a decision. However, it took them a week from the time they sent us the email stating that they had made a decision to sending a second email asking for my passport. I have no idea why it would take them a week to send one email.....or if the first email was even necessary!

My guess is you were well on your way before they updated ECAS! Was it the tracker that emailed you as London doesn't usually tell you when you go in Progress?

ha ha I flippen hope so!! LOL

Clearly, the powers at be think I am not ready to start doing his laundry for him again :D

I have a silly question (mostly because I am not so computer gifted and couldn't figure out how to view whole postings after doing a search...would only bring up bits of the postings...?)...when the visa office requests your passport does that mean they are acctually going to give the applicant a permenant resident visa?
We are still a way off from this bit, but I was just wondering if the PPR was the final step before you were granted a visa? I've tried doing a search on here and googling...but I figured that I could get more accurate information and much quicker from some of you immigration gurus on here :D

Hoping that those of you waiting for your PPRs will get them soon :)

Thats pretty much it. the ppr requests your passport for 'Visa Issuance'

Congrats for getting it down there, no idea when it will return. They've had mine since 20th January and its being sent back to a UK address, so now the final bit of waiting begins.

just popping in to say hello ;)

my file should be transferred to London very soon if not already! Still waiting to hear on sponsorship approval but should have been decided today as another member that sent in their application the day before me got theirs approved on tuesday. So fingers crossed!

How long will London take on a Canadian born sponsor to England born applicant, we are newlywed (dec 2010) but 6 year relationship before marriage as i was only 17 when we met and he was 19. Sent in 200 pictures (150 from all our meetings, and 50 from the wedding day), i have 5 signed statements from friends/family about our relationship. Skype logs, phone bills etc. we have a joint bank account. I have all my travel itineraries minus one or two over the past 6 years everything i could think of really. Cards/letters to each other. Wedding cards from friends/family. My application was massive! Is this type of application likely to be approved faster? I know it can take anywhere from 6-12 weeks in London before PPR.

I would say prepare for 6, and bel elated with 3!!

As much as it is nice to see timelines, when your application doens't fall into them.. it gets very stressful!!

i hate that its not a set time because I have to give 4 weeks notice at my job and i hate it! i want to quit NOW!!!!!!!
I dont want my visa and then have to wait 4 weeks to leave because i have to work notice!
