Oooh! Exciting. I hope you don't get too wet! The weather in the UK is awful right now so pack plenty of waterproofs.

Have fun!

Every day we thank our lucky stars we are here together. Its very hard to be alone yet not alone while going through this process if you get what i mean . We all have to continue with our life but we also stop our life. It was a 3 year long distance relationship and many people ask how we did it. My answer to that question is always the same, we gave up 35 years ago when we were young and first dated ,and this time we are not giving up.

I honestly think it has made our marriage so much stronger. To know my husband left his country to be with his wife 3,500.00 miles away to live the life i wanted . Now that's love.

i'm actually on my way over to Scotland tomorrow to visit my husband for 2 weeks.. he won't be landing until May, but it's really nice that when i leave this time, we will know exactly when we will be seeing each other again - and every day after that!

That's a lovely feeling. I have to go back to Wales in May for a wedding i am bridesmaid in lol . The funny thing is i am staying with a friend who is renting our house out in the U.K. its going to be strange being there without my husband. I have a list of stuff i need to bring back for him. He is missing certain foods, like brown sauce HP and nesquick chocolate milk .Apparently it doesn't taste the same here .

Well, I've emailed my hubby's MP. Not sure if it will make any difference but anything's worth a try. No sign of COPR in the mail today. :(

Is there any way at all to connect with them apart from email?

You could call them if we are still talking about contacting you're MP if you are talking about LVO then nope.

So if it has been lost in the mail, and they aren't responding to me, what on earth can I do?

6 weeks since DM with absolutely no communication - it's unreal!

I know. Often they don't response but they do take action on your file. I only know this from my notes. Honestly if i was you i would get in touch with my MP . They are obligated to reply to an MP .

I have got in touch with the MP too - no reply. I feel totally helpless.

I have been sending email after email and unable to speak with anyone about it.

I know but their is not much more you can do . Believe me i looked at all ways to contact LVO even looked for fax numbers. I remember Andrew was right outside their office and wanted to go inside.

I had a reply back from the MP's office saying that my request has been passed to a relevant official who will enquire on my behalf and they will be in touch shortly.

Sausageboy - I empathise with you but my advice is not to keep emailing LVO. The last thing you want to do is irritate them and make them drag their heels even more. I know it's easier said, than done and I know only too well how stressful it is waiting and waiting, but having read through the forum I've found out that LVO don't reply to requests of this nature. You'll be wasting your time :-(

I'm sure we'll get our COPR's soon, chin up.

If that is true, that it irritates them and they drag there heels when asking for information, then that is absolutely disgusting. We pay a lot of money for a service.

All I need is communication to inform me of what is happening with my file since they made their decision.
