I received my COPR last week and ECAS didn't get updated with anything after it changed to DM. Some peoples change but others don't. Be patient and you will find out in the post. :-) Easier said than done though, I found the wait from DM to COPR really hard. Every time I saw the post man I got an adrenalin rush!

I'm the same! I'm currently spending my mornings staring at the post box on the road :P

Pretty sure there's a Canadian equivalent to the US ESTA coming in in March. Probably worth investigating in terms of extending visas etc - presume it will be required. May also be going mad and have made that up after a night on the ale!

They are implementing an ETA system. You are right that it starts in March. I think this is only needed if you are entering or leaving the country as a visitor. If you are simply extending your stay I think you'd be fine

You get informed of the decision by regular mail, not email FYI :)

Does this vary by office? I was processed through ADVO (assumed I would go through LVO). I was informed of my decision by email, not regular mail. The only thing I received by regular mail was my COPR after I sent photographs and passport copies to them.

You were told by email that you had been approved? Thats the first I've heard of it so far.

Yep. Throughout the whole process the only thing I've had by regular mail is COPR. SA and PPR were all done via email.

This was the email I got.

Thanks Andrew. How do I add the timeline to show it below my account name? I think it will be helpful for other users/viewers too.

The situation at the LVO is an absolute disgrace. The whole Miss/Ot/Lon thing was a shambles, and now those of who were unfortunate enough to go to the LVO in and around that time are currently being, in reality, ignored.

A look through my first set of notes also leads me to believe I have a pretty incompetent case officer (sxb), who only bothered to check my file when asked to by his superior following a FOI request. Obviously immediately requested my notes again.

From the start I had no problem waiting my turn, and waiting the amount of time that that would take. But the current situation is a disgrace, plain and simple.

Just needed to get that off my chest.
