Hi all,
I got DM last week and now just got an email from CIC saying the following, any help would be really appreciated as I am confused about what to do.
If these conditions apply to any of your family members, you must inform the Visa Office immediately: lima.immigration@international.gc.ca
'
Before a visa can be issued we require the following:
( X ) Original valid passport for each approved applicant.
( X ) 2 photographs for each person 35 mm x 45mm. Enter complete name on the back. Use a soft pen.
( X ) New medical examinations for you and, if applicable for all your dependants – if the previous ones have already expired.
( X ) Updated police certificates from Bolivia.
( X ) Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for you and your spouse Instructions and payment options are found at:
( X ) Confirmation of your current mailing address
NOTE: Please be advised that you must send above requested documents through the Visa Application Centre (VAC). You may find information of the VAC in:
* If you already have a VAC tracking number for this file, please use the same to submit any other additional document. You don’t need to pay for the same service again.
*** To avoid delays, please submit all requested documents at the same time ***'
A few questions:
1) My visa office was Ottawa yet this is showing Lima. I used to live in Bolivia but moved in September to Canada, my mailing address was the UK but I forgot to update my living address. They are asking for updated police reports from Bolivia but I cannot do that since I am no longer resident there and even if I was the police certificates take months. Do you know what I can do? Is there anyway to directly speak to someone? If so should I contact Lima or Ottawa? Has this happened to anyone else?
2)My medicals were completed in January 2015 so I assume they won't have expired?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks all
